Why on Earth did Yvette pick Brian Shepherd as their new medium when David Wells left. It is like getting blood from a stone when he does his walk around. He suppose to be a medium, well his bloody antenna is switched off. Tedious and annoying, no wonder he was replaced by Chris Conway later in 2009.
Because he's not a medium in that sense. He's a psychic artist who draws characters that he picks up however long it takes, whereas here he's expected to come out with information and names and dates almost instantaneously, which is not how mediumship always works. It's more the fault of MH for putting him in a role that he's not.
@@jordanxbrookes It's the fault of Yvette, who was taken in by Brian when according to her, when he visited her at her home, he came out with details about Yvette's late father, that only Yvette could know about, even Yvette's mother had no idea. This was proof to Yvette that Brian was a real medium and she catapulted him on to the show in 2008 once David Wells was forced out. However once he came on to the show, he was very different, as I said, trying to get blood out of a stone. If mediums are real, surely they all have a gift for getting names and dates. I have said this before, is it common that when we die and enter the spirit world, we suddenly all forget our names and special dates? Why are spirits unwilling to give us their names and the year they lived and died? Brian for me looks like someone who talked with a few relatives and friends of Yvette and gained some information, which Yvette thought she never told anyone else, but did. He use that to gain Yvette's trust. Because, in one live event back in Halloween 2008, her frustration at Brian not delivering the names and really slowing the progress of the show boiled over when she screamed at him "Give us the name!!" and when they went to a commercial break, they didn't cut away from the location and live on air to 2 million viewers Brian was heard to say "you bloody fuckers" before the director crashed into a commercial break.
Yvette just wants answers now, spirits are not as fast yet.
