I've been here many times including a 'behind the scenes' tour which included the creepy corridor. We were warned about paranormal happenings but personally have never experienced anything. I'm not sure I would do one of their ghost walks at night just in case.
I love Newton House and Dinefwr Castle. We visited the property on our second trip to the UK, and the whole area, including the woods you walk through to get to the castle on the hill, all have a certain atmosphere. I didn't find it oppressive or evil, though.
Wether this show is fake or not i do believe in ghosts cause off my personal expériences l. Now everyone is intiteled to there own opinion but for me personally there is life after death and no i dont do druggs or drink never have never will....
My great aunt worked in the house in the late 1800s 2 years after she finished her service to the house she died by which time she moved to South Wales
I went here back in 2018 for a historical school trip, being only 9 years old at the time; and something was 100% off, it was a school trip, and I kept on mentioning to the teachers and they said I was being paranoid. I heard giggles and I SWEAR I saw a woman in the nursery window in a black dress; like a shadow figure.
If you go on Google maps and search for Newton house go into street view then zoom in on the right and side, it looks like a human face in one of the windows. Obviously it Could be a reflection of some sort but still interesting to look.
I had to laugh when they said that Newton House is "miles away from any town" because I live in that part of Wales and Newton House is only just outside of Llandeilo. Other than that, I would definitely agree that it's haunted because I've been up there many a time and the atmosphere changes the moment you enter certain areas of the house.
I love the history. I wished I owned a place like this. I am from Australia and the ghosts are fairly modern in comparison to these that haunt these places. I have never seen a ghost but all this is interesting
I went a couple months ago, and the top floor was off limits to the public, but a staff member let me and my friends up there to see as I had been there a couple years ago. As soon as I entered the corridor I felt like I was struggling to breathe, despite being fine a few seconds earlier.
Can I ask what the haunted room on the top floor is used for? When I saw it on Most Haunted, there was furniture everywhere. But since it was years ago since they visited. I would imagine it’s changed a bit.
When Karl gets hit in the head, I saw an orb come from the back of his head to the front as he was holding his hand to his head. I don't think it was dust due to how it moved, it was at 38:19, what do you think?

First time most haunted team 2009 was at Newton house Karl got hurt hit by something and he something on his tummy it was worry for his wife and the makeup lady Mel she a talk to yvette,s husband Karl he said to Mel let nice cup of tea with them and talk to yvette about her husband and yvette said the team all went home

Why does this house attract such horrible things.....well lets apply psychhology eh!
