The island of Ischia is located on the Golfo di Naples, it is not only the largest island of this bay but assumed to be the most beautiful one and is a Thermal island. The town Forio is based on the slopes of Monte Epomeo, it is the second largest and the on of busiest town of the Ischia island.

Forio is at 20 minitus car from Ischia Porto. It is a perfect location if you want to enjoy the island of Ischia and move around. In forio there is also a port that can take you around. The night life in Forio is active and there are many Resturants and Bars.

About to book Ischia for myself and GF and found this video just uploaded, great! We like a mix of things, good beach, medium busy town and good food. Forio seems like it offers this. Didn't want to settle at Ischia Porto. Although every area seems brilliant.
