    Just purchased my Kia Forte GT Line 2 weeks ago and we love it. We absolutely needed to buy a car now-so we were limited to stock on hand. We love everything about it, the lights, the technology, the safety features, the zippy feel to it. It is a perfect car for my partner who is a teacher. He often gets compliments on its look. Our model has no moon roof, but it is more than enough. I was strongly considering a pricey 40k Honda Civic Touring, but this Forte really nailed. We paid MSRP and topped out at 20K. We went with Kia Financing at 3.49%-in California that is crazy good. It's not the fastest, or sportiest, or most expensive-but it gets the job done and saves us $$$. Honestly, its a great smaller car!!!

    i leased one of these about a month ago. not so much because i liked the car it was more out of necessity. Both my trucks went down with major repairs at the same time and i needed something new that wasnt going to crap out on me. The lease deal was reeally attractive so i went for it. I didnt expect to actually like it but after a few days driving it i am really liking it. great features great ride and not bad looking either. Also averaging about 40 mpg on my commute, coming from my trucks which get 12-13 mpg its a huge savings on gas.

    I like mine. Got it in sporty blue. Put Led headlights, all 4 turn signals and back-up lights in mine pretty quick. Also all interior and front marker lights. Makes a huge difference. Mine has a manual parking brake which I prefer greatly. I can back up with my door cracked open (when necessary). On the auto paking brakes it pulls the brake abd makes it very hard to do that.

  • @chetthehoss
    @chetthehoss ปีที่แล้ว +8

    I absolutely HATE when manufacturers put the functional lights (indicators and/or reverse lights) in the bumper skin. All indicator lights should be placed up higher so that they ARE VISIBLE. This also adds to collision repair costs because the bezels are separated. They also just look stupid. There is no reason to do this. This feature would be enough for me to decide NOT to buy this vehicle. I know it seems like a small detail, but it is a seriously poor design flaw.

    • @quantum0151
      @quantum0151 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      YES, This is one of my dislikes with newer models today. The indicator lights need to be visible as possible because in weather when it’s pouring massive rain and you have to turn your hazards on, you won’t see shit with those small ass lights.

      Interesting that I'm considering either this or the Mazda 3 too. I like the reliability of the Mazdas. I've been a Toyota and Honda owner and never owned a Hyundai or Mazda, but Mazda has a great reputation. Also I think I can get more features on a Mazda 3 for under $30k drive out price like leather, higher end audio, etc. than Honda or Toyota. While I like Kia Forte , I'm worried about 5-6 yrs from now. I'm the kind of person that keeps cars for 10 plus years.

    1) How is the noise level?
    1.1) Does it have any acoustic laminated glass (on windshield and front window?)
    1.2) Does it have any sound dampening material in the door/thunk etc.?

      I own a 2023 GT LTD and it's a great car in general but it's biggest flaw: it's a loud car !!! Soundproofing is incredibly bad. Gt trim is especially noisy because of the 225 tires width on the 18 inch wheels. If you search on reddit, I am not the only owner complaining about that.
