Could be, but that really depends on how well Pokémon Co. are able to recreate such a thorough artpiece as the Moonbreon. It's a reason that card has a gained the reputation of a modern legend, and there's usually not an easy follow-up to that. I think one reason for the popularity of many of these SwSh grail cards (Moonbreon, Giratina, Rayquaza, Gengar, Lugia) is their ability to tell a story of that Pokèmon within it's most natural habitat. I generally think that's what makes a good Pokémon artwork timeless.. The Magikarp from Paldea Ev. is in that category also imo, and look at the price on that already! Probably going to drop a bit, but still a great long term hold.
Same thing with VanGogh pikachu. I don’t understand any “investor” who wouldn’t sooner buy a rainbow charizard gx because their quantity is minimal and print quality is garbage as well as it being completely out of supply. Or armored mewtwo, or mewtube. There are so many different cards with better art and way lower population to invest in.
@@magg93 Magikarp currently has poor print quality and limited 10s so has the potential. But let's wait for a reprint becuase it's an easy card to pull at the end of the day. I just feel with Moonbreon, earlier investors will eventually get bored, liquidate and move on to the next chase card. Therefore flooding the market. But there's gonna be a lot of new product on the market to compete with
@@DB_________dude I opened soooo many paldea evolved chasing magikarp and couldn't pull it. Got a handful of SIR Iono though. Traded one for a magikarp right before the value surpassed iono. Lol
Love the content! Curious about that Ebay vs TCG metric, I think that Ebay piece is a little delayed, or is including many more non-NM sales. I've sold 2 NM (not psa 10-able) Moonbreons in the last week for $920 each on Ebay which matches pretty much on par with TCG. Just a thought, cheers for the content as always!
People are confused I feel ..the lost set is not good..there is only 2 cards at the top..the rest of the gallery is not that great..radiance has more to offer..it's only 2 to 3 top cards..
For the same cost, I would rather have 3 Lost Origin booster boxes and a lil cash in my pocket then 1 Evolving skies booster box, But I would also rather have 1 Evolving Skies booster box then 5 Vivid Voltage booster boxes. This is the same for Team up. I would rather have 2 Cosmic and 1 Primal Clash booster box over 1 Team up but I would also rather have 1 team up box over 9 Sun & Moon base set boxes.
Recently TCG has been breaking away from the market average for a lot of cards. Def feels like market manipulation to me. FOMO impacts both buyers and sellers. Be v careful with prices. Look at the insane prices in covid and where we are now. Vivid Voltage booster box was going for £160 out of the gate and now is £110/£120. Always buy at low prices or accept you are too late and move on.
I've got 7 sealed booster boxes and I will not have a hard time finding a buyer. I wouldn't buy it or open it but there is always someone out there that would do both.
@@jameswa4013The point is there are better opportunities right now. You can get two Paldea Evolved for example or three Paradox Rift. Psghh you can even get LO for $200.
Jace..would you trade CZ master set for a Moonbreon?
Yes
The problem with Moonbreon long term is the pop. The demand is currently there but just wait till the next meta chase card comes around

I disagree. 11000 psa10’s but there are millions of people that want that card.

Question, do your videos take into count for the Japanese versions as well? If not, do you know if they are similar?

Nice Channel!! Love your content!! Do you think Gastly from Temporal Forces will raise in price?
I definitely do! I’ve already bought two. Look at magicarp and groudon for example. Money is in the art rares!
Not sure you can be bearish on evolving skies and bullish on the others when the others depend on evolving skies to do well.
I'm not paying 250 for fusion strike who in there right mind would?
Screenshot for when it’s $500 in 2 years time
