- Today we're finishing up the lintels or headers over our window and bottle brick openings and locking them into place with hyperadobe bags. Also, we make some toasted coconut goat milk ice cream. Yum! 🍦

Bonjour la famille. i'm extremely late to the vidéo today. actually it's 04h 30, Thursday morning. my work prevented me from watching my vidéo, your vidéo rather, in the afternoon yesterday. so in the quiet of the morning, one light bulb shining above my head and a cup of hot lemonade, i've immersed myself into the sand and the round and round of the mixer. it's quite cold and humid here in the north of France. many are on strike. many are protesting retirement reform and some just want their trash picked up. jonathan and ashley, you two have been blessed with beautiful children. what handsome boys you have; it goes without saying, the females of the Cochise County Tiny Shiny Homestead are 'formidable !' well i'm off to bed again. i'll close my eyes and see the orange sky at the end of your day.

Definitely interested in seeing what happens in the day before & after bag laying! That was a lot of eggs, but I bet with a family of 6 you have no problem using them!! Will you be getting more meat pigs some day? I assume your meat birds are growing big now? Is it almost time for more baby goats & Jonathan hinted at the beginning, there may be a cow in your future. Fun to know all that, plus more current & future permaculture news (trees budding?). Next berm and swale after the house? Anything you have to do to keep the solar, water & fence systems current & flowing smoothly (puns intended)? Plus, what’s it like to homeschool teens & preteens & has Adali graduated? Anything you want to share would be lovely! Such enjoyment watching a whole homestead grow before our eyes!! More videos as time permits. Plus, Ada’s little, but she’s mighty & works really hard too! I’ve been thinking about getting ready to look for the technical book for building low cost concrete water tanks in africa written 60 years ago.You all already have the skills and equipment and live in a desert.No brainer.There is also a chapter on making water storage containers (. Big garden pots) using hessian and cement render.you guys are gonna love this
