FMS Ranger 850mm PNP - Part 2: Maiden Flight

I have been looking for a 4-channel RC parkflyer that is significantly larger than my ultra-micro and micro parkflyers, but still small enough that I do not scare people in our local park with its size and noise. My search ended when I heard about the "Fall into Savings" event at Horizon Hobby and found the FMS Ranger 850mm PNP (FMM123P) on sale for $97.49 (original price was reduced from $142.99). FMS is a very high quality RC brand, and their models usually do not go on sale at such large discounts. The sale was still on when I uploaded this video, but it will be ending in a few days on Sept. 9, 2020. In this video, I am doing the maiden flight of this parkflyer. As I expected from FMS, this airplane had excellent flight characteristics right out of the box and without the need of any stabilization technologies. I enjoyed my first flight very much and got used to this airplane right away. Both the touch-and-go and landing were very easy to perform with no bad tendencies at slow flight.
