Our founder's first trip to Namibia was in 1997, and he visited on three more occasions before setting up Indigo Safaris. Since then, he has led half-a-dozen trips there with clients, and visited another five times on educational and inspection tours. Amongst our small team of safari experts, two have worked as guides there, and two more have visited multiple times. Safe to say, we know Namibia intimately, and have our finger on it's healthy pulse.
Although the whole country is essentially a desert of one sort or another, the diversity of landscapes, coupled with an excellent and safe road network (75% gravel roads) makes for a jaw-dropping road-trip, or a stunning flying safari.
