There is a deep connection between spirituality, Jungian psychology, and concepts like sanskara and shadow work. Both explore the hidden, unconscious aspects of the mind, the self, and the deeper layers of the psyche that influence our thoughts, behaviors, and experiences.. Both try to get beyond self and try to understand why i am what i am ? Carl jung was also heavily inspired from Indian philosophy . But,i see a problem with this..first i respect both ideas we need this and its amazing but lets say a human program is initiated to raise human consciousness. One of the key element would be to do shadow work to raise human consciousness. so,you identify a individual shawn ..now shawn is happily living with family but you started this program so to get on to shadow self you have to create chaos destruction his family source of income all would be destroyed ....now you can destroy it easily but what about next after 10 or 20 years of shadow work have you helped him with his resources and life ? You cannot say i will destroy but creation will be done by you .
If you have access to frameworks and practices taught by well grounded teachers in India/Asia there is little reason to fear. It is more likely you will complain that transformation is too slow, rather than that it is too fast and causing chaos. But if you have serious psychiatric fragilities, it is best to sort that out first through therapy.
I want to tell Jeffrey Mishlove that I know that you are Chevy Chase, but it wouldn’t be good for either career if they knew that you are the same person. Sure, the movie “Modern Problems” has a lot of similar stories psi and supernatural themes… coincidence?? 🤨 I DONT THINK SO!! Ha!!! But I promise not to reveal your secret Jeffrey Chase/Chevy Mishlove. 😊❤ Ok, joking aside I absolutely loved this one. We are all mirrors for each other. Just like you and Chevy Chase. Sorry I don’t know when to quit… but Sam Kinson comedy is not really my style 🤔👍🏻❤️
If you imagine the eminent Jeffrey Mishlove to be represented by the idea of comedic actor Chevy Chase you have more the tendency to enter into an altered state as the discussion in the video elucidates.

"universal quality of self transcendence". Great conceptual ground.
Master of one

You call it psychology. I'll call it Buddhism.
