It smewlls like plastic because you did it totally wrong. You have to unseal it and burn it for a while e until plastic smell disappears. Only then ith preheating, and only then its cooking. Always read Manual Instructions. Especially when you try to impress people in the video. But I guess in USA its fine.
LOVE the tiedyes! I make tiedyes! Been doing it for 30 years! I've also been to over 100 Grateful Dead concerts! =D I JUST got my fryer, can't wait to use it, so watching your video! I can see you guys in the reflection of the fryer. hehe. Thanks for the video!
This guy sounds bull headed. Doesn't read the directions and doesn't take or listen to any advice of his wife! Not very nice to her in the way he talks to her.
5 minutes is all you need for fries in the Gourmia air fryer 15 minutes is too long they will come out hard as you see I have one and it takes trial & error sometimes happy cooking
NO pre-heat is necessary for fries and most foods. You overcooked because you didnt read the manual! 🤣 This technology isn't 1950s guy. It helps to read, not hurt.
Wait I don't believe you are suppose to pre-heat with food in the basket... Once it's done pre-heating it will prompt you to add food
You are correct thank you for that info
Thank you, I was struggling to figure out how to start it!
You are welcome. Have fun enjoy your air fryer.
@@TomLeeman thanks Tom!
I loved it! 😂 it’s the first time I stop and look how others do what I would have done it too. Thanks it was funny.
Glad you enjoyed it! We try to keep it fun and laugh at our mistakes. Thanks for watching and enjoy your air fryer.

You probably have a issue with stop signs too.
Lowkey this is how I would do things too haha. Nice to see someone real for a change
Thank you ! You makes me 😂 you are funny beautiful couple
Yay! Thank you!
My experience mirrored yours - exactly! What the hell is that smell? Does it go away?
Yep, it does go away after a while

Excellent tip I’m gonna make some french fries tonight. Thanks for watching.
So ultimately your suggestion is to not use the air fryer. Ok. I just wanna know how I preheat it without it counting down the second it's done
I actually really like this thing it works pretty good but when you use it, it has to preheat every time and you have to hit that start button
The preheat on this airfryer is against ehat an airfryes is supposed to be
You definitely have to let it preheat
I make my own french fries this guy no shit😊
I bet they are delicious
Wow, this guy was so rude to his wife. Meanwhile she was right. Who air fries without some type of oil or spray? Smh
I know, right
