This continued on even before and after the two sides had went to court when they were 14. What Miller did was horrible...but I read that he was 14 at the time. Which isn't an excuse but he was a juvenile . I wonder how many pro athletes with sealed juvenile records would be throw out of their leagues if the records were made public.

Distractions are a huge part of hockey which is how stuff happens, but this one is in the realm of bigoted racist level. It was not one mistake. It was an ongoing one. He should still be held accountable because he didn't take proper actions to warrant any forgiveness. The other kid that was bullying along with him has been forgiven - perhaps Miller should do follow his lead. It's not that complicated.

In the case of Miller, he is currently experiencing social backlash (for good reason), but that does not mean his life is over and he'll never be able to do anything again. He can start by actually showing some remorse and properly apologizing to the family (just like the other kid who was bullying Isaiah did).
