Hello, cable was broken after sleeping with them,. i did not add new cable , i just peeled and bondeed the old ones, heres a picture (youtube dont delete please) is still not fixed, is it because i didnt solded them ? or there is something to clean like that green color, im confused. i send you the picture to PM
Could you put thicker better quality cable in as a replacement, would there be any benefits with regards to the sound? This is something I'm considering doing.
I always screw my headphones with feelings. :) BTW, what do I do when the breakage is apparently at the connection cable input? I guess I somehow need to take apart the left speaker.
Is cheap earphone cable effect the sound quality? I have broken wire on my m40x and want to fix it but afraid if that will make right and left sound unbalanced
How to know/differentiate + and - cable? I found this used headphone for 30$ but the cable was damaged, i want to buy it but need to figure out how to fix it, do you think i should buy it?
you need to be 100% sure that the problem is with the cable, not with a faulty speaker driver. New m30x cost around $80. New ear pads $15 + $10 (a few cold drinks while the headphones is being repaired). $30+15+10= $55, not bad deal. But I'd recommend knocking off $10 under the pretext that repairs won't be cheap, don't say you'll fix it yourself.
my dog loves earphones . usually she eats the pads but this time she decided to eat the side wire. I cant find any sidewire to purchase and dont have any old stuff . where can I get some
no one old earphones ? They usually came with the phones and are always lying around in someone's drawer. You can use wire from damaged headphones also. Last chance is just buy cheap in ear headphones.

you can use any old earbuds or in-ear headphones cable.
