- Wishing everyone a Happy 2019 ahead! I've got so many projects I don't know where to start. Just some chat as we step into this new year together. This was by cell phone, which had to be vertical for Facebook Live - sorry for the weird formatting - it was a Quilt-Cam on the fly!

Been watching previous quiltcams and found this one. Im so sorry for the loss of your brother so yes 2019 will be amazing. Im sewing and watching you and being inspired. Just saw the post for the new leaders and enders and thats my goal this year. Best wishes to the Inn.

Hi Bonnie- A big thank you for all you give us. I am working on neutral string blocks for Hunter Star. Wishing you a "relaxing", joyful and rejuvenating 2019. Hope you can find more time for yourself to do whatever moves you. Whether it be sewing on a rainy day, or looking at a sunrise with morning coffee.

I’m watching this on Friday after New Years as I’m putting together my blocks for the GF mystery. LOVE the reveal,of this quilt. It’s my first mystery and won’t be my only Bonnie quilt. Thank you for all you do!

At 8:23 in this video you show us a part of a block with bumblebees and Kaffe Fassett florals that I feel lack the contrast you mention is needed when you show us your "didn't quite work" blocks later in your video. I suggest taking that one out and replacing with one with better contrast, so you don't lose the design.
Looking forward to more Good Fortune Mystery parts, Quiltville Inn updates, and other things you create in 2019. I too am missing my younger brother who passed away tragically from cancer in October at the age of 44, leaving a wife and two small sons (and two grown siblings and Mom) behind. Praying for strength, for your family and for mine.

Happy New Year, Bonnie! You certainly have a plateful of projects and "babies" to birth. I will keep your SIL in my prayers too. Didn't see this till today -- I've been sewing, sewing, sewing and can say that at last my "On Ringo Lake" top is **finished**!! It now needs to go to the long-armer...in the spring...when cash will be a bit more available. It's the full size -- and I can't believe I didn't buy a single new piece of fabric for it! The only new bits will be the batting and backing! It's lovely; so thank you for your inspiration and talent. I continue to enjoy the journey with you.
Thank you for this, Bonnie, I got out my "stars" quilt blocks that have been on my shelf for over a year and will be making a long table runner, which I have needed for a year, lol!

surprised to check your youtube video and see a new one. bummer I missed the real time. been sick last few days with this awful upper respiratory crud. anyways prayers for SIL and recovery 100%. Love all the updates on happenings coming and going. Still working on MQ clues, but not last few days. Stay strong and we will survive. Love for all you do and take care of you Bonnie Hunter.

I am NEW !!! I Love tutorials !!! as I work on my quilts ...I've never done a string quilt, only been quilting a couple of years ...so I don't have a lot of scraps I try to keep scraps to a minimal... but I keep everything except threads...lol anything that is just strings I use as fillers for doggie beds ...you are so down to earth and talented...I'll be following you ...Love your Life and Enjoy

Thanks for opening up and letting us know what you are doing! Super busy... but always time to sew. I am going to step outside my comfort zone and do more string piecing and paper piecing this year. I have to, if I want to keep rolling through your patterns!! 💕 Maybe you could show some piecing like that?

Hello happy new year to all my quilt friends. I worked but we were slow. I was able at midnight to press some blocks I started 20 years ago. They are ugly to say the least. Merging old skills, old machine to 20 years more experience and a different machine. But I'm going to continue. Cut the sashing and practice my free motion quilting. It was a baby quilt and the kids in college now. So I have a beautiful green and yellow throw for my couch when done
Don't care about hair and make up, I just want you comfy while sharing video, only request don't let it be a box I know there is a setting to widen it. Folks off grid can share live vid. am sure you can figure it out. Missing family can take time, you just needed it and a fresh start if you are ready is wonderful. No hurries, be well always. You asked about plans for the new year....
My goal for 2019 is to SEW MORE ACCURATELY and not trim AFTER messed up units are “inside” a block....I need to pay more attention and understand that speed will come with time. ANY pattern is possible once the basics are achieved.

I am making more string blocks I have so many strips cut that I need to empty out some of the bins.
They have come a long way with breast cancer. It is the support that is the real cure. Prayers. 💘
