They were originally doing this as a short. However a lot of us Patreons suggested they do this as a regular video instead. So they did. I love this version. So much fun. And the guys had a blast making it.
Their steady cam person moved away and they are still in search of a replacement. It actually started out as a mini and grew, anyway I'd rather have this aspect than nothing at all. The music is stellar, the shenanigans wonderful! Nice reaction.
This was going to be a mini, which generally are in this format and filmed at this mall, but Layne was having so much fun arranging it he just kept going. They were also forced to improvise, as they're currently short a cameraman (and I believe have been since before they made the Jingle Bell Rock video, which was filmed using Tony Wakim's iPhone--in that case, though, I never would have guessed it wasn't a regular camera.)
That was Only Cesar hitting those whistle notes. He also did that when he was playing the air guitar in Hell Fire. Also in a live performance when singing with the group Chicago.
You aren't wrong, it started out life as a mini but Layne and the guys were having so much fun, they extended it. Love Cesar's extreme high note while VioLayne does his thing. Their camera guy left so it is what it is and it brings back so many memories. If you have a chance, J None has done a solo of an original of his "Am I Here?".

I find it hard to decide which is funnier, J's facial expressions, the guys dancing, or the animals. The voices are incredible, as always.
Incredible vocals.... and loads of fun. 🔥🦁🔥
They could have stopped at a short. But I'm really, really glad they didn't.
That was Cesar on the really high note!

VoicePlay is bringing fun into the new year. This one is full of great moments.
They just spreading happiness at this point! ❤
If you don't have fun watching this video then I worry about you. Glad you liked the animal antics. Just so much fun
This was just so much fun!!
Gotta respect the “aspect ratio” petty. I cackled when you said the harmonies almost made you forget about it. 😂🤣

I am sorry you don't get it. Your reaction threw me off . I love this video. It was hard to listen to you. So I moved on!!
