      There is one type of palyers you forgot.... The Bingo players, those players that only plays on sheer dumb luck. You won't believe how many there are of those. Calling a 2x pot size 3 bet with 6/3 off from SB. or calling an all in with J/2 because it's suited......Or how about when they limp with kings or aces.

    As usual Lexi, your advice is excellent, especially for cash games and the early stages of tournament play. With shrinking stacks and rising blinds in the later stages of tournament play, common sense and logic are often cast out the window and replaced with “no gamble - no future.”

    I’ve been practicing gto and notice they always prefer low rfi amounts for the initial raise like 2.5xbb. What do you do when everyone just calls you in cash games when you bet that. Even if I bet 15 dollars in 1/2 the whole table calls sometimes and I’m trying to isolate.

    I feel this video wouldve been a nice cliff notes for me to watch before playing my Gladiators. While I understand most of it, i found few details i found interesting and learned something new. Bubble play and itm seeking players, I should learn to exploit. I wouldve thought hand for hand play in bubble play wouldve negated short players trying to stall time, making it useless. But i guess there are scared players who like to angle to itm.
    I personally think of finishing min cash as next to nothing fail. Really not satisfying but rather frustrating.
    Just favorited this video and also offline download on youtube premium so ill play this before every tournament so my mind can stay sharp and aware.

    • @Williy_Nilly

      Depending on your stack health, exploit your button position as frequently as possible to steal the blinds and post flop play against flop or fold players.

    • @harveyhashimoto2384
      @harveyhashimoto2384 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Williy_Nilly When I get down to 20-30 BB I start looking for spots to shove with Ax or Kx hands against min raised button or cutoff players from one of the blinds. They are trying to steal the blinds and this lets you keep your blinds plus 2 BB bet or you have a fighting chance against a weak call. Sure, sometimes they have it. But many times they will fold "to find a better spot to get it in".

    • @Williy_Nilly
      @Williy_Nilly หลายเดือนก่อน

      @harveyhashimoto2384 I agree, but the question was how to strategize when you're basically card dead. This is a great way to steal small pots in the interim.

    • @harveyhashimoto2384
      @harveyhashimoto2384 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Williy_Nilly Stealing pots that you "don't deserve to win" is surviving. K3o in not unplayable in these situations. And occasionally you can double up to get deeper into the tourney. It is not always about what you have in your hand, it is what the opponent THINKS you have in your hand. That IS the strategy. This works especially well when you have been folding for a prolonged time due to being card dead.
