Last time i saw them live was in 1979 Oakland Colliseum.. I can’t believe these guys can physically do this performance! I am 75 and I know what it is like to be old. So it was pretty good to be there and experience it. So glad someone recorded the whole performance so I can see the part I missed by leaving early. Really wanted to miss the traffic after. Been quite a while since I first saw them in 1963 on Ed Sullivan Show.. My sophomore year in HS.
I've seen them three times here in Brazil: once in Rio and twice in São Paulo! Everyone who loves rock should experience this at least once in their lifetime. It was awesome!

Just their main hits could fill up a dozen albums. When all else fails physically, mentally, financially, socially, etc. music will always be enjoyable!

Finally after all these years the genius of playing a song like tumbling dice almost like clockwork around the fourth or fifth position of the show has been revealed to me. It has all of the classic country and rock style and even psychedelic elements of their Exile period. And it gets the back up musicians a chance to get warmed up. It also gives everybody in the audience chance to get up and go buy stuff and take a break and give their impression of the show so far, except for the guy that’s already drunk and clearly enjoying the song a bit too much. Could mean a Rough night buddy be careful. I think it’s the third most song played in their entire repertoire live maybe fourth I mean that’s pretty significant when you think about it I think it just happens to be the world’s most iconic strategically placed classic ever.
I went to the show in Houston-The BEST!. I’ve always have loved the stones. Question is it just me or my seating , is Keith not as visible ? Just asking.
I got special tickets for back stage at this concert! I was right in front of them next to the walkway! I have videos posted as well Such an awesome show
Are there any songs from the Hackney Diamonds CD? I would not be surprised there aren’t. Their old stuff from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s are so much better. Satisfaction, Get Off Of My Cloud, Midnight Rambler are good examples.
I wonder if/when Keith's going to finally get the SMU intro right ! Houston was bad, NOLA a bit better and this time while not as bad as in Houston the rythm was off...
After 45 tours and 64 years of being the Rolling Stones ..he can make a few missed intros...he's over 80 and has arthritis in his hands and that bloody well hurts when you play guitar...😮
