Very well done. Sub 4. Thanks for sharing. Love the view to the front too. Started in 18 degree temperature and finished at 30. Another Gorgeous Gauteng Day
By far my favorite race of the year...I started very early (6:37) and was finished before the temperatures got too hot (09:32) - Set a PB of 2:55:15 and next year I am aiming for a 2:40:00!
Awesome video Neville. I am planning to do my first 947 this year. This is a great document on the experience and it's encouraging. Well done on your endurance and pace as well.
Awesome! I've managed to finish in 4h03min. Unfortunately I couldn't manage to complete under 4h. I've started almost at 30 degrees what complicated a little bit. Just a question, what app do you use to track the circuit, elevation, speed, etc?
So close! Still a great effort - well done. I used software called Garmin VIRB Edit to import and overlay the data from the GPX file from my Garmin Edge 520 onto the video footage.
Well done - this looks like awesome fun, we must do it next year. Thank you so much for the video.
Love your full race videos. Well done on the ride
Zaheed Peer Thank you. Glad you like them!

What camera was this?
GoPro Hero 7 Silver
Awesome video. Well done on your time an on completing the race. What kind of action cam did you use and did the battery last the whole time?
Thank you! I used a GoPro Hero 7 Silver to record the video footage, which was connected to an external battery pack to extend the battery life.
@@Neville7851 how much extra weight is that?
@@adiedove6272 About 350g
