Hey fowler, fishing tip. When you see mayflies the trout move to top water. Thats the best time to troll or throw shallow lures. When its raining after a hatch the trout still sit high in the water. Even Kokanee will come up for hatches. Trolling a leech pattern fly on a carolina rig or drop shot works really well. The key was those mayflies. The trout are just scanning the water for them to either hatch or skim the water laying eggs.

Equal parts Sour cream, Mayonnaise, and grated Parmesan cheese.... add slightly undercooked (seared) seafood of choice fully submerged in sauce. Sprinkle with some shredded Parmesan for a nice crust. Put under a high broil until sauce bubbles and cheese browns and bubbles.

I lived on the big island Hawaii in the past and we would wrap a fish up in foil topped with a jar of mayo and sometimes some hot sauce added then left it on some hot coals..tasty.

3 1/2 inch to 4 inch bluegills are excellent bait for big mouth bass, just hook under the neck skin (to keep them alive longer) put a float on it set for 3 feet depth in 10 ft. water and let it swim (no weight attached). Works like a charm for me.

Both shoes have pinky toe holes( I have flippers for feet and am like a quad wide) as well as "palm of bug toe" holes on the bottom and both have the soles peeling off from the toe down. I love those shoes man!
With all that rain. Maybe an upgrade... retractable tarp or canvas cover on a pully system that can help with keeping you dry in the main area of your pirate ship.
Wheel of time is a great series from Jordan. I recommend Ender's Game for a great cyberpunk spin; one could almost call it the first real saga with "drones".
for the cooler/water thing, i learned dry ice baby, that's the way to go, yes more exspensive but lighter, and yes a bit of learning curve, but very satisfying. I cannot go back to reguler ice or those BS freezer packs.
You should put a small windmill for extra electric charging or connect paddles to a windmill charging motor so as you boat moves the saddles spin the charging motor ,2 extra ways to get electric
If the Djingis Khan book series you talked about is the one Conn Iggulden has written its a really good suggestion. Really good imo. He has also written a series about Julius Ceasar which is also a good one.
