I voted National in 2017, ACT in 2020 and NZ First in 2023. I voted for them because they are the only voice for conservative working-class regional New Zealanders. Labour ditched the workers for the wokesters, they did nothing for our cost of living, health, education, immigration, economy or social cohesion.. it was made worse. National are too soft, ACT sold themselves out to their highest bidding donor and I couldn't accept that. I'm nearly 30 with maybe another 30+ years of life, I want to live that life in a country with balanced, common sense and practical policies that are fair to all and not a two-tier society decided by race. Economic opportunities spread across New Zealand instead of concentrated in Auckland's swollen suburbs. I never thought NZ First would appeal to me but Winston and Shane were the only ones who resonated with me. When most politicians get voted out.. they throw in the towel, give up and retire but NZF always come back! to do it for 45 years you've got to care about New Zealand. That's enough for me to join.
We see how NZ First is not democratic as Minister Jones is not following the recommendations of the select committee on the Hauraki Gulf bill. The select committee heard from people and drafted a bill with their input after the 1st reading. He has stated that Pacifica and Maori people from South Auckland will not get enough protein if the protection is along the lines the select committee recommended. It is more likely about fishing industry interests or people who own boats.
People know you signed the September 2024 Global Census Document Pact Winston. I was disappointed that the Coalition Party kept it very quiet about the UN Summit. Why, Winston? I don't hear the Coalition talk about it still, or have I been missing it.
Only God can transform our nation. If you want the blessings of God, our country needs to stand with Israel for in Genesis 12:3 I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonours you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth will be blessed. The promises of God given to Abraham are for his people today. Only God can make our Nation great again. . If NZ repent and seek the Lord's face, he will forgive our sins and heal our land. Standing with Israel and including God in your decision making, he will bless the works of your hands and you will prosper in all that you do. Amen
Genesis 12:1-3 is about Abraham and his seed (Jesus). Born again Jews and Gentiles that compose the Church are the true Israel. The only importance of the modern state of Israel has to do with biblical prophecy that God would bring the Jews back to the land and pour out His Spirit on all of them (national conversion).

Leader's Address: As promised, we're taking back our country - NZFirst - 13October 2024 Tēnā koutou, tēnā koutou, tēnā koutou katoa. E ngā mana, e ngā reo, e ngā karangatanga maha, tēnā koutou. Greetings to all, to the authorities, to the voices, to the many affiliations, greetings to you all. Winston Peters' address at the New Zealand First AGM, entitled "Leader's Address: As promised, we're taking back our country," is a masterclass in divisive, racist rhetoric that seeks to undermine the progress made in recognizing and respecting Māori culture and identity in Aotearoa New Zealand. Peters' inflammatory statements and policy proposals are not just offensive; they represent a direct threat to the principles of partnership and equality enshrined in Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Peters' claim that removing Māori names from government departments is "not an attack on the Māori language" is a blatant lie. He states, "This conceited, conniving, cultural cabal doesn't represent hard working ordinary Māori - they only seek to use Māori to further their own agenda"[4]. This proposal is a calculated attempt to erase Māori identity and culture from public life, perpetuating a colonial mindset that has no place in modern New Zealand. His characterization of those who support the use of te reo Māori in official contexts as "elite virtue signallers" is a cynical attempt to delegitimize the legitimate aspirations and rights of Māori people. The speech's focus on "western values" and opposition to co-governance is a thinly veiled attempt to maintain white hegemony. Peters' misrepresentation of the Treaty of Waitangi, stating that "Maori ceded sovereignty to the Crown," is a deliberate distortion of historical fact. The Waitangi Tribunal has clearly stated that Māori did not cede sovereignty, and Peters' claim otherwise is a continuation of colonial narratives that seek to undermine Māori rights and autonomy[4]. Peters' proposal to make gang membership an automatic aggravating factor in sentencing is a simplistic and punitive approach that ignores the complex socio-economic factors contributing to gang involvement. This "tough on crime" stance disproportionately affects Māori communities and perpetuates cycles of incarceration and poverty. Research has consistently shown that such policies exacerbate racial disparities in the justice system rather than addressing root causes[www.justice.govt.nz/assets/Documents/Publications/Maori-Over-representation-in-the-Criminal-Justice-System.pdf]. The speech's rhetoric on "minority rights" and "gender identity theory" is particularly concerning, as it seeks to marginalize already vulnerable communities. Peters states, "They're all into minority rights, teaching children gender identity theory and they're not interested in debate. Anyone who questions them is gaslit, or culturally cancelled, or shouted down"[4]. This approach ignores the intersectionality of oppression and the real struggles faced by LGBTQIA+ Māori and other minority groups. Peters' claim that New Zealand First is "taking back our country" begs the question: from whom? This divisive language serves only to deepen societal rifts and ignores the complex, multicultural reality of modern New Zealand. It's a regressive vision that harks back to a mythologized past rather than embracing the diverse, inclusive future that many New Zealanders aspire to. The policies outlined by Peters, such as establishing a "New Zealand Future Fund" and attracting international investment through taxation incentives, are thinly veiled attempts to further entrench neoliberal economic policies that have consistently failed to address inequality and poverty in New Zealand[5]. These proposals ignore the systemic issues that have led to economic disparities, particularly for Māori and Pacific communities. Peters' assertion that "normal people are endangered" is a dog whistle to white anxiety and resentment[5]. This rhetoric is not just offensive; it's dangerous. It seeks to normalize a narrow, exclusionary definition of what it means to be a New Zealander, ignoring the rich diversity that has always been part of our nation's fabric. In contrast to Peters' divisive vision, we must prioritize community-led, culturally grounded solutions. Iwi-based initiatives that focus on language revitalization, economic development, and restorative justice offer a path forward that honors Te Tiriti o Waitangi and promotes true equity. The National Action Plan Against Racism, which Peters conveniently ignores, provides a framework for addressing systemic racism and promoting inclusivity[8]. Initiatives like The Lines Company's partnership with Te Nehenehenui Trust demonstrate how community-based renewable energy solutions can deliver positive outcomes for whānau and hapū, addressing both environmental and social needs[10]. Similarly, ESR's Māori Impact Research Programmes show how science and mātauranga Māori can be combined to address pressing issues like water quality and food safety in ways that respect and empower Māori communities[11]. Peters' address represents a dangerous regression in New Zealand's journey towards true partnership and equality. It's a cynical attempt to stoke racial tensions and roll back hard-won progress in recognizing Māori rights and culture. New Zealanders must reject this divisive rhetoric and instead work towards a future that honors Te Tiriti o Waitangi, celebrates diversity, and ensures justice and opportunity for all.
