    This stuff is blowing my mind. Complete gamechanger. Keep it up, Mr. Skelton. I find this presentation helpful (among other things) in how best to get my head around how these technologies will change society. What do you need a programmer for, if plain English (or Chinese, or Dutch, or Swahili for that matter) will generate code? More and more 'code' will be natural language. And the technology is getting better and better.

    I am absolutely in love with ChatGPT. I use it for work where I'm a subject matter expert to do my grunt work producing bodies of text or brainstorming etc. sometimes just to refresh my memory. Since subscribing and using 4.0 I find I get less hallucinations, too.
    My only criticism (and it may be because I'm a SME) is it doesn't push back enough. I will occasionally ask it to critically analyse something which I know is wrong and it will often just go along with me instead of pushing back. Great video and like you, I'm extremely excited (and a tiny bit scared) about how this will supercharge the knowledge economy

      You need to give it very specific instructions. You have to give it so much information to do things. AI at this point in time is not capable of ingesting large amounts of data. It can't give context to projects with 100s of files, all kinds of systems and integrations.

      Data Analytics is obviously not going away. However, now that everyone with common sense is at least up to par with maybe a moderately advanced data analyst, it’s going to at least be extremely competitive. This won’t effect me too much bc I’ll still live a comfortable life but it’s def going to be 100x harder for newcomers.

    Thank you for the very useful demo. It was clear and I was able to begin using the plugin immediately with Kaggle datasets after watching. It is hard to imagine that ChatGDP was just released in November. I just don't think many people realize just how revolutionary this is. It is important to understand the coding, mathematics and principles behind it but for someone who does and someone learning it opens up possibilities. Arthur Conan Doyle - 'Data! data! data! he cried impatiently. I can't make bricks without clay.' Now you can make buildings. Its like buying a new woodworking tool and you want to find some scrap to test it with.

    I setup the same as in this video and asked chatGPT to explain the data to me like an organized crime boss. This is the response:
    Alright, listen up. Here's the lowdown on this bike theft business.
    First off, we got a timeline here, see? The number of bike heists ain't constant over the years. There's some years where the business is booming, and others where things are quiet. You gotta keep an eye on the trends, see? Timing is everything in this business.
    Next, we got the territory. This ain't a one-district operation. The thefts are spread out, but some districts are hotter than others. You gotta know where the action is. But remember, the more action, the more heat. You don't wanna attract too much attention.
    Finally, we got the schedule. This ain't a 9-to-5 job. The thefts happen all hours of the day. But there's some hours where the business is brisker. You gotta know when to strike.
    Remember, this ain't no game. This is a business. And in business, knowledge is power. You gotta know the landscape, the timing, and the territory. Only then can you run a successful operation. Got it? Good. Now get out there and make me proud.

      @@chadskeltondata I've played around with this. I seem to get it to work randomly with 5 or so quite simple CSVs. However it loses focus and gives errors when there are more CSVs or the datasets are in any way more complex than a few dozen rows.

      @@avgplayer The datasets I've been using have had tens of thousands of rows in some cases but usually not that many columns/fields. But I haven't tried to get it to do things using multiple CSVs. I also find ChatGPT can be quite idiosyncratic: something that worked yesterday may not work today and vice versa. Will play around with some multiple datasets. Can you give any more insight on what you were trying to do? Were the CSVs all related? Were you trying to join them together? Maybe you just need to analyze each one in sequence, even if they're related?

      @@chadskeltondatathey were analytics reports from an event. first I tought chatgpt to interpret the data and fed it the Csv files via notable for it to analyze the bunch and give a summary and insights.

      I think it's just temporarily missing because they updated it. Try again in a few days.

    Im not able to download files from noteable. Only upload is working. Did you have this issue before?

    • @chadskeltondata
      @chadskeltondata  ปีที่แล้ว

      I find downloading files from Noteable a bit hinky when you try it form the main project page. For me, if I click on the file I want (like a CSV) and then click File>Download that seems to work more consistently.

    Could this work with hypothesis testing? How about ANOVA?

    • @chadskeltondata
      @chadskeltondata  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not familiar enough with concepts like ANOVA to test it out. If you can send me a link to the primer on the concept I could perhaps try it out.
