I think that this is a big improvement on the classic reporting. Would be even better if some of the QB Advanced features like Pivot and Chart View were shared with other versions (even if it was just for a few sales reports). I hope that the reporting improvements extend to the Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet as the poor formatting and code ordering is something that gets mentioned to me regularly. (We shouldn't need to use Syft Analytics to present basic financial information to a client.)
I've found the new reports a bit intermittent. From CofA I could pick anything and run a report. Tried that earlier and it said no data (no "all" date available) even when I custom dated it. Refused to show me anything. I've just been back into that and it's worked. That's a little worrying and annoying? I've saved a few of the new ones, I like the invoice one.
Love the new view but it has its limits and leaving out some very important data fields. 1. Custom Fields on the Sales Invoice Template is not available in the Transaction List by Customer Report. Same for Custom Fields in the Purchase Orders not available on the Transaction List by Supplier Report either. 2. Foreign Values (FX) for Net and VAT is not available in the reports that are available within Classical View. Makes its impossible to prepare a GBP HMRC VAT Return for a EUR Client. If Intuit take across all the columns that are available in Classical View, then its got my full backing.
It drives me bananas that when I try to add a column I get an error message that you can’t add more than 20 columns but nowhere can I find how to delete preselected. Columns by quickbooks so I can have the ones I wnat. Ugh

Agreed - all I can say is keep an eye out news of upcoming reporting features ;)
