@@JamesJonesTech Ah, so first impressions. Exynos 2200 and fully updated. Works like a charm. Some miniscule hiccups here and there, but overall perfection.
@TeriSneky glad to hear you're enjoying the phone! For what you pay vs what you get in 2024 I think it's a great phone, it's a better phone now than when it was released (imo).

What was the ram of your s22 ultra? Cause I owned s22 ultra with 12 and 8 ram and could tell the difference between these two .The 12 handles way better than 8 .Even s23 ultra with 12 better than with 8 of ram .I tested these phones with two rams and I noticed the difference. As for s22 ultra ,colors looks better than s23 ultra when you look from the different angles of these two phones you also see the difference. S23 ultra display colors is loosing vividnees when you turn the phone a bit ,but as 22 ultra color and contrasting remains best
8GB. Since this video I've gotten another S22 Ultra, also 128/8GB and enabled the maximum option for RAM Plus. Not sure if it's OneUI 6.1 or placebo, but this phone feels much smoother than the one I reviewed in this video.
I do agree about the display being more vivid on the 22U. Did you end up keeping your S22U, or did you upgrade to the 23/24? Thanks for watching!

Now I have s23 ultra 512/12 for 3 month , but I loved s22 ultra with curved and best display ever .I'll skip s24 cause make no sense to upgrade it from 23 ultra .
@beka.m.3490 nice! Agreed, hard to justify upgrading for sure. I just put my sim back in the S23 Ultra today, it's really held up well
Just got one on eBay for $150 lol will be my 1st android so I’m super excited. Have the 15 Pro as well but I’m really Looking forward to testing out android and Samsung. Again it’s literally a steal for $150 with 12gb ram and snapdragon variant❤
I'm seriously thinking of cruising Ebay later and putting some offers in...sub 250-300ish this phone is better than pretty much anything you can get especially for the 12GB version.
Edit: got another S22U in black now. When it's time to retire the Note I'll be glad to have it.

I have both the s22U and the s24U. Still love the S22U. The funny thing is I was getting decent battery life on the s22U, while the s24U, I'm getting slightly less battery life than what others say they are getting. It is slightly better than the s22u battery life, but was expecting more based on what I've many content creators mentioned.
I was extremely disappointed in the S24U battery too. It's gotten better within the last month for me.
Should be filming S24 Ultra full review this week sometime.
@JamesJonesTech For sure. It definitely improved a whole lot over the last few days. Went from getting 7hrs SOT to well over 10 hrs.
@Marlon_J I got over 9 hours SOT traveling out of town recently, 5G/location/Bluetooth music and all. S24U is the first phone I've had to give me 7, 8, and 9 hours SOT. This thing is a tank!

@@Omar13t battery life is better on the S24U and S22U for me now than a few months ago when this video was recorded. I showed some data in the S24U review.
I just got mines a few day ago. Battery life is great 7hrs 30mins at QHD+ 16hrs from the time i unplugged it. And most of the on screen time is watch youtube.
The battery life on the S22U has improved on Android 14 for sure! 3 days of standby with 57% right now. Thanks for watching 🔥

S21U doesn't have it, but the S23 series and up do. I'd be interested in coming back to the S22U if it does though.
Hello I need help regrads software update
I just got an Manufactured refurbished S22 Ultra the other day as I posted the picture of it, I am having problems with software updates, it will not update to the latest One UI 6.0 even though it has Android 13, One UI 5.1 and the security patch level is way in July 1, 2023, and when I go to Software Update and see if it will do anything, it won’t update from that older Android 13 as it says it it up to date, I had a different S22 ultra that I let go back and it was able to upgrade to the Android 14 as it updated to March 1, 2024, do I have to download anything like any Samsung Apps in the Galaxy Store, I updated the apps that was in the Galaxy store to update as it was nearly 16 apps that had to be updated when I got that phone up and running, it works good though from calls to texting to mobile data and camera work well, I even been trying to Google about software update problems as well as that doesn’t seem to be helpful. I hope there is some good helpful tips about it on TH-cam,
Please help me with this software update problem with that S22 ultra.

Do you have the model and build number? Some resellers will sell international units in other markets at a discounted price, can identify these by the model number.
I'd recommend trying a factory reset first though.

@Mr._Qaysar1018 agreed, it really needs performance profile to help with battery and cooling. I get better battery life with the Note 20 Ultra and S21 Ultra than with the S22 Ultra.
is the 120 adaptvie frame rate on? that will drain battry like crazy!@
Yep, I used 120hz on it. I have another one coming this week in black, hoping light performance profile gets added in a future update to help battery life

Holding out for the 25 Ultra is what I'd do if I still had it. I still use my Note 20 Ultra every day and between the S21U, S23U, and S24U it wasn't worth keeping.
