4:47 👏👏 making sure the girls uniform is perfect 👍, I know it can't be roses all the time, but this band projects togetherness, love and unity, I seriously can't get enough of this band especially when i feel down, for me it's a perfect pick me up, I almost know the set plays off by heart 😂
Just noticed in another look at the video, the band coach in the white top and black leggings, ( can never remember her name 🤔), but she was accepting a lot of compliments from the crowd. I know she was a Tachibana student and played in the percussion 🥁, went of to the America to study music at university. And the came back and took on the present role with her beloved band. Since in that role ,she has worked tirelessly in the choreography which we now see today. She goes slightly under the radar, but is a major contributor in the production and direction and Taiwan trip was her crowning moment. The future is bright the future is Orange 🍊

I hadn't thought of that, but thank you for the unexpected information. I just hope that the students will take care of their bodies and do their best during this extremely hot day. Thank you for your reply to my comments. To explain I am not the total expert, but I follow Japanese junior and senior high school bands. And you have probably guessed it that Tachibana is my all time favourite. I have been watching videos of them since 2018 at the Rose Parade and Bandfest. I was totally blown away by what I saw. Young kids ( to me they are young kids still at school), play incredibly perfect pitch music, while doing amazing choreography routines and show no signs of breathlessness and, and keep smiling most beautifully. I have seen videos of the two professors you mentioned and they were great teachers and helped in bringing them great success over their rain. Yokohama mentioned that he was not a dance instructor and that the senior students worked on the choreography. The new MD was around at the time and when Tanaka left , took on the mantle. I believe ( and this just my thoughts), he asked the new coach to come on board to in the moves, with having experience being in the band prior and enjoying success with them. Consequently she totally understands the need to work closely together on the music choices and the integration of the dance to emphasis the music they are playing. Coach Shima ('Mentapu'), like her predecessor, is a freelance and also works with a number of other bands. Kyoto Tachibana was not the only band she coaches that won a Gold in the JMBA National Final in 2022.
Awesome performance as always. Wish the flag bearer with the short hair would relax and quit overthinking her performance. She has a very pretty smile, when she does smile. Most of the time she looks too serious, she needs to learn to have fun and smile more. If not then the band should get rid of her. Not a good look when everybody else is smiling and having fun, and she isn’t. She has too much negative energy.
I'm 75 years old, and I think if Bennie Goodman were around to hear this rendition of "Sing, Sing, Sing" he would be very pleased!

私もずいぶん前から気になっていました、男の先生そして女性の先生が常にお二方が要らして以前の田中先生、横山先生方々と同じ様に御指導戴いているのかな位にしか思っていなかったのですが意外な情報を有難う御座います。生徒さん達にはこの猛暑日が続く中､身体には気をつけて頑張って欲しいと願うばかりです。

舞步表演樣式加多了。
復健式表演動作減少了。
因此現場更加活潑、同樂氣氛。
但對同學們的體力、音樂吹奏之挑戰更勝以往。
