I’m guessing the navara had a DPF delete?
Would love to do this to my Nav, mine needs a tune too. Way too sluggish at the moment with the bigger tyres.

When should we book you in?
You mustn’t have googled sober because blokes in Thailand had limiter tunes years ago. At least 6 years ago I was talking to a guy in Bangkok who made these tunes for all utes and models. Navs, Hilux Vigos, Tritons and especially the Dmax, well before anyone even considered it.
On the 2.3L NP300? Yes have been able to do all other models for years but the 2.3L NP300 has only recently been able to be done.
Also my 30seconds of not googling didn’t show anything. As stated before I’m not fussed if it’s worlds first, I just do my own thing.

What’s the software you use to remove the limiter? Looking to do something similar on a buddy of mines Frontier (which is the US equivalent and cousin to the Navara)
We have a few different programs and hardware. The Frontier has a different engine and ECU to the Np300

Is this expensive and im in Adelaide?also will these effect the fuel or engine long term
Will need your ecu to do the tune. Doesn’t effect the fuel at all, and as long as it’s not sitting on limiter constantly and car is warmed up you’ll have no issues
Really want to get the dpf deleted exhaust, ecu tune on my new 2022 hilux done but can’t justify 6k
I’m guessing it’s manual?
Once you have the extra power, torque and better fuel economy it’s definitely worth it.

@@procheckautomotivemechanic4551 Nar it’s a auto but does a dpf burn every time i start the thing witch is a pain in the ass, I’m in nsw hunter valley unfortunately.
It wouldn’t be 6k with us for exhaust, ecu and trans tune. Under 5k
What is the point of that, surely that’s going to much up your dpf

Does this cause long term damage?
As long as you aren’t doing it from cold start or sitting on it for 10mins, no it won’t do any damage. It’s all about moderation 👍🏻

I don’t know anyone over there that can do it sorry. Not saying that they can’t just don’t know anyone.
