There is a new LED illuminator that clamps right onto the TA31 to illuminate the Reticle. It is called the REM ACOG (Reticle Enhancement Module) It basically turns the TA31 into a TA02. It also is designed to reduce the reticle bloom in bright sunlight. It has 11 brightness settings so it can be used in very low light conditions (No more strapping on Chemlights) to aiming from inside a dark room to outside sunlight.
the LT799 featured in the video is a military mount and may not be on larue website, I found this brand new on ebay, it will fit the acog and vcog optics
Does the killflash protects the scope from airsoft bbs? Can i use this killflash in a regular scope, Is there any way to scratch or damage the lens due to direct contact?
This is an optic for a true firearm. The purpose of the kill flash is to help keep sun or light from hitting the glass. It will create a big signature and give away your position.
I would probably get the QD mount, larue is a great upgrade, look for the levers being on the right side as well, theres a large surplus atm and you can get brand new Larue QD mounts on ebay for $80 which is about 40% of retail
There was never a m16a5. While the a5 buffer tube was designed , it was never adopted, and there was never a m16a5 designated rifle ever. The marine core decided to go with the m4 carbine corps wide before the adoption of the m27 iar . There were occasions where the carbine buffer tube was put on the m16a4 with a h6 buffer. This was the actual adoption for the collapsible stock, but it is still a m16a4.

Nice, I was not aware of that part, learned something new 👍
little late, but the USMC abbreviation of RCO stands for ranged combat optic! Nice upgrades man!
was not aware but good to know
You may already know but if you rotate your front lense cap 180 degrees, the cap will be out of your way when you open it.
Nice setup! Just got the ta31-D in fde. Brownells has the rmr and rm35 sent together.
@@speedyconcretepumper nice 👍
Hope your alright after Milton!
which mount did you get for the RMR and where did you purchase? Thanks
Does it specify any torque settings when mounting the RM35?
Is the LaRue mount any lighter than the stock mount? Thanks
Hey I’ve been looking at Larue site and they don’t show that model

Why bother with a killflash on your ACOG when you don't have one on your RMR? The RMR is the more visible of the two in terms of reflection
flip cap mostly with the benefit of killflash
is this the piggy back mount from trijicon? does the mount fit all cogs? like the 4x32 RCO
yep RM35 is the model of the rmr mount and it'll fit the RCO 4x32 acog

When you flip the cover up to use the Acog doesn't that covers your RMR view If you need to quickly switch views?
i have it reversed so when flipped the cap is on the rail
What scope cover is that by the way?
@@jaffaryakman3381 when I bought the ARD it came with the flip cap
Damn mine didn’t, thanks for the reply!
Just got my first acog coming Monday, which upgrade do you think is most worthwhile for now?
