Jun actually has a personal connection to the song. Growing up and during his trainee days people would tell him to stop acting weird and how it was a waste of a pretty face for how weird he acted. In an interview he was even onced asked about his thoughts in being viewed as one of the weirdest members in Seventeen and he responded by talking about how everyone is a little weird and unique in their own way. The song is actually about that and is a sequel to his other song Limbo (which you should also check out when you have time) and there’s rumors of there being another song after this to continue the story
btw jun is a member of seventeen! he's chinese (obviously) and described this song as a song about accepting your own uniqueness and uniqueness of others, so yes, it is quite queer-coded. he actually has a song "crow" which is about queerness and queer love and was written by a malasian gay couple of composers (if i'm remembering correctly). and aslo, I would recommend checking out his other solo - "limbo" (the choreo of that song is sickening)
7:07 Oh, that's interesting because Jun has a queer-coded song. One of his first songs, "Crow" was made by a gay married couple of Malaysia, it was their first work to be accepted by an artist and they were very grateful to Jun for helping them share their work with the world. Crow is a song about how brave crows must be to fight for their love in a world where they are classified as the 'bad ones' just because they are different. Jun wanted to convey the message that everyone deserves to love, that being unique and different is what makes us all special. Crow is a piece of art, and it's a ballad, if you want to take a look.
Before Psycho, he also created Limbo, which is a bit more focused on the feeling of starting to love yourself like you never have before. It has the concept of 'Falling in love with oneself' and be transported to a limbo with no way out.
Specifically speaking of Psycho, he wrote the lyrics thinking about how for years people have labeled him as someone 'weird' and 'different' because of his personality and for being himself. This caused him a lot of fear and insecurity in front of cameras, especially since he had worked as an actor since he was two years old. All his life he received comments from people in the industry, about how he had to change to be 'normal'. With time and the support of his teammates, he has been accepting himself and freely expressing who he is.
I completely understand how it can feel a bit queer-coded, he has also freely shown his support for the community on several occasions as well as his group Seventeen ❤
Jun has another solo that was before this mv, called limbo, highly recommended it!! The clips in the beginning of the video where he has blonde hair is from that mv! Also jun has really great facial acting, I think this type of song suits him rlly well.
My bias performing in Chinese, he really stands out to me. And how is he so opposite his music video persona.

He actually has a song called 'Crow' which is written by a gay couple from Malaysia. It is about the struggles of being different and fighting for love in a world where u r considered bad.. Forget queer coded it is a straight-up Queer song.. As a queer person living in a very homophobic country, I cry every time I listen to it. Jun is actually from Seventeen.. Ik U have reacted to them before.. The lore of his solos are connected. Its called the Limbo Universe which consists his other solo song Limbo and this one. the first few scenes in this MV are from Limbo MV.. U have to check it out!

About the MBTI, for me the problem is that nowadays everyone is taking a test on the 16personnality webside and call it MBTI. Which it is not. It just appropriates the letters codification. The MBTI is not something that you can test on a website. You're supposed to either pay a professionnal, or learn about the cognitive functions system yourself (which most people don't seem aware even exists 🥲). But of course, their are other issues, like how all of the reasearch on it is private, and it's sometimes took too seriously : it's not scientific, just a tool to serve as a starting point for analysing yourself or others.

Yay one of my favorite reactors reacting to one of my biases ☺️💎 Jun has some other solo songs too (he’s actually part of seventeen) and you should definitely look at Crow’s lyrics :D You talked about this song’s possible queer coding, but crow is actually more queer coded ! Then there’s his solo song before the one you reacted to called Limbo, and it’s been rumored that this is a three part series (with one part still missing) 🤔
