Meg has a strong accent, so strong I can't quite understand her here. I didn't notice that in her character. I've been playing the dress runway scene over and over. I love the way she turns around one final time, and the music comes in. It's a universal type of feeling or moment, when you've done something risky and you're done and you feel good about it. The music sort of catches that feeling.

It's impossible to be an exact copy of any important person. Prince Phillip, Princess Margaret, Prince Charles ,Queen Elizabeth, John F Kennedy and Jaqueline Kennedy as well aa many others can never be copied exactly. They brought a joy to that time.

I thought she did well.
I think she has very minimal scenes which doesn't seem impactful at all, so I failed to see how well she played the role.
This was my take as well... I'm a huge fan of Kate Middleton, so I was surprised (and a bit relieved!) to realize that her role in The Crown was TINY. She barely registered, honestly. Prince William had a lot more camera time, and lines.
When i was younger, all i remember was tabloids talking about Prince Williams parting with kate the model. And their on and off relationship what might not be a relationship 😂
Sorry, but I thought she looked nothing like Catherine and that it falsely painted her mother as some evil mastermind.
The actresses can try to emulate all they can, but neither can come close to be near Princess Diana nor Princess Catherine. These two Princesses are true blue English Rose beauties.

I have nothing against the actors but this show lamblast the Middletons, they made it look like Carol, a social climber, that Middletons are poor, Party Pieces have generated an annual of a million pounds thus why they are able to send their kids in elite institution. Just horrible storyline.
That is why the show is done in poor taste just to sell sensations
I think it was slightly the truth only in reality Kate did a great PR on the surface
I agree! They've always been nothing but a sweet, classy family, all of them. It was just so far fetched when for example they randomly stumbled upon Diana and Will on the street during shopping... I feel like the last season was amazingly done but it was quite sentimental and therefore unbelievable at times (maybe the 5th wa slike that as well in that regard, with Diana coming back to talk to the royals after her death). I still love this show but after the real and raw portrayal of the other royals, showing how Diana wasn't as innocent and dreamy either, revealing a loveable, human side of Charles and Camilla, showing the dark times of the always glamorous Princess Margaret, etc., this season was way too much fiction. I think the creators used too much of the press material when portraying Carol Middleton for example. There was no need for that as she never proved herself to be like that.
Netflix have to ‘drum’ up all sensations & possibilities as for them to prepare the 2nd season? Poor taste Netflix
I agree, while it’s true that kate changed schools last minute, there was no proof it was her mother’s doing, they tried to change her into a more successful mohammed al fayed but I don’t think that was necessary.
This is the one casting choice that really takes me out of the project.

I was addicted to the first five seasons, but season 6 was simply awful. Meg Bellamy looks and sounds nothing like the Princess of Wales. She was not nearly as attractive and needed to lose about 15 lbs. to look like the Princess.
