    That's really good. Its a Little hot on the top end. But overall? Wowzers. GOod value!

      Thanks for the comments. I reckon as the peak dB of tweeter was way more than the woofer, that was the cause of the hot top end!

    Hard to judge on the old laptop.
    Anyway I have bought blank amplifier circuit boards from China and found are of high quality.
    I have in last couple of months replaced some Danish tweeters ( damaged and unavailable) with Chinese. Very similar in spec and sound good but slightly down on output. The best bit is not as harsh as the original.
    So just because it's made in China doesn't mean it's crap . But it is between a 6 to 10 week wait from my experience.

      TBH most things are manufactured in China just look at the iPhone!! So, I agree lots of good stuff too!

    I really appreciate your videos! They're a huge help for people like me who live outside of North America and Europe. By the way, the crossover link seems to be broken. Could you please update it?

    Are you considering the Kasun DL-600 woofer for a project? It could be a great choice for a 2-way bookshelf speaker design.

      No, I'm concentrating efforts on Full Range currently

    I just recently discovered your channel, I like your videos. A small suggestion: you audio levels are too low, both the dialogue and the ambient sound, try to hit around -18db. Thank you for sharing.

      Hi, I get your point. First few videos were recorded on a mobile. Now have a small mic so should be better on later ones!!

    Great cabinets, did you create them yourselves and if so can you share a bit on how you got to the right dimensions etc?

    • @DIY-AUDIO
      @DIY-AUDIO  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, they are quite small. 225mm * 150mm (plus the depth of the oak front) *125mm. Made from 18mm MDF

    is that GHXAMP is the AIYIMA under different name?

    • @DIY-AUDIO

      Could well be, I think there's a lot of generic Chinese products with different names

      Hi, they were rear ported but for life of me no idea now on volume as sold them a long time ago. Unfortunately can't even remember the cabinet size!

      Hi Kevin, I'm not really sure. A 3" Woofer is probably a bit small for what you want I think! 🤔

      @@DIY-AUDIO maybe so, hmn it may have to little effect on the radiator, thank you Sir Paul 🙏

    Hi, how is the bass that produce that mini woofer?, Is it good or meeh?

    • @DIY-AUDIO
      @DIY-AUDIO  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The woofer for just 3" was surprisingly good. Obviously the bigger you go the better but I just wanted to build a set of small speakers!

      In professional audio they would be classified as a near field .

    This test should be with bass and treble on a flat position. We don't get the truth here.

  • @basukisugito3275

    The bass and treble on the amp should always be on 0, I can never accept speakers so bad so I must use bass and treble on the amp. Then also impossible judge the sound quality if not have the bass and treble on 0
