Asking Brianna "When do you celebrate New Year?" was a smart question. Because many Asians celebrate lunar new year, including Japanese. But Japanese people celebrate lunar new year on January 1st. So if Brianna said something like, "I celebrate new year in February" that would have immediately given it away.
japanese dont celebrate lunar new year. they celebrate the solar new year (which follows the solar calendar) which falls on january 1st. lunar new year is an outdated calendar based on the moon, which is why the dates change every year

Asia is such a big continent where there are lots of distinct cultures so this doesn't make sense. They should've just specified a part of Asia.
It's like doing the same but for the American continent.
So you wanted just East Asians in the video?
@@semolinalibra You completely missed the point
@Carpee Cat may i ask why?
@Carpee Cat I totally understand your point but I'm an Indian i.e. a South Asian as well and i feel that Asia is a continent which consists of a large number of countries including ours despite the difference in cultures. So no matter what other people believe or say, I think it's geographically correct to call us Asians.
