The first time i heard the snippet of this i got some DVBBS & Borgeous - Tsunami along with Seven Lions- After Dark vibes, but i wasn't expecting that solo guitar, i was waiting for Takayoshi Ohmura shredding this live but instead we got one of the Western Kami Band performing this for the first time and it was awesome. The exotic middle eastern (Arabic) sound gives to this new track a sort of tale that relates directly to METAL KINGDOM and maybe Divine Attack - Shingeki too, both from this new album. This was at BabyMetal Begins - The Other One - Clear Night live at PIA Arena MM, Yokohama, last April 2nd when MomoMetal was baptized as the third new official member. Recently fans at live tour enjoyed this song. This journey is fascinating and the metalverse is a rollercoaster, get ready for some more surprises. Next suggestion: - MAYA live at PIA Arena MM 2023 official, you also got an Extended intro version at "For The Fox God". These girls got no problem with paparazzi at all, you wouldn't notice who are they if they cross on your daily life, if any there are only some creepy fans stalking what they do in their private life here and there, but it's minimal. Hell yeah guys! BTW, the "record" that has all the cultural influences is the one you bought (Metal Galaxy, 3rd album)! The latin themed one is Night Night Burn. Get your dancing shoes! Metalizm is amazing. I absolutely love EDM/dubstep/trap, especially when it's a bit "darker". This song is all that, but with amazing vocals and insane guitar riffs on top. Blows my mind haha. The major concert for 3rd album is "Legend Metal Galaxy" in 2020. Metalizm is from their 4th album, the Other One, and of course this is from Pia Arena MM show. "METALIZMIZUMIZUMU" 🤘🦊Best Egyptian/Arabian/Middle Eastern Psy-trance metal song. It seems they have some respect for privacy in Japan, so the celebrity chasing paparazzi doesn't seem to be a thing there - which has to be so much better! Besides which Su-metal, Moametal and Momometal don't exist off stage (or they are almost unrecognisable out of costume and out of character). Either way and for whatever reason, very little to nothing is known about their private lives ... and, nice as it is to see the occasional photo of them enjoying life etc, long may it stay that way.
Moa has said that she doesn't get recognised out of costume and has even walked right by fans in Babymetal shirts in Toyko. It's like they are super heroes with secret identities ❤️🦊🤘

I think it's because she DOES look quite a bit different out of costume. It's actually quite amazing how different the girls look when they don't have their hair in pigtails and have it down and they are wearing their "normal" clothing. Yeah, it doesn't surprise me to be honest. I've seen pictures of them in regular clothing and I did a double-take myself because of how different they look lol

great reaction fellas, not only are they excellent entertainers, but Su is a student of world singing styles and Moa is a student of world dance styles and together they bring these ideas to their writing team through their producer, (KobaMetal) and their choreographer (MikkioMetal) and Momo is one of her best students, and as of an interview released this morning, Su said that they were working on a EC type song in the vein of (We Got The Moves) but something was missing, so they decided to ask them directly if they would collaborate with them and like magic, RATATATA was born.
METAL GALAXY is a masterpiece, and the Blu Ray Legend Metal Galaxy is a fantastic watch. The version of Headbanger on day two is one of the most amazing crowd interactions I've seen from a BM performance.
The Latin influenced track that you mentioned is called Night Night Burn!, and it is very cool - you should definitely react to it. It comes from their third album, "Metal Galaxy," the goal of which was for them to branch out a bit more and incorporate various musical influences from other styles of music (Metal Galaxy is the album with Shanti Shanti Shanti on it by the way). Metal Galaxy was essentially a 2-disc release, and included 16 songs. This album also featured collabs with no fewer than five other artists, including Thai rapper F. Hero, Tim Henson and Scott LePage from Polyphia (their track Brand New Day is probably my favorite on the album - but this album is just loaded with awesomeness in any case), Joakim Broden from Sabaton, Japanese musician Tak Matsumoto, and Alissa White-Gluz from Arch Enemy. As for Metalizm, it is from their newest album called "The Other One" (just another knock it out of the park tracks collection of awesomeness). The most recent tours that they did last year were tours that were mostly in support of this album (and tours that feature their newest member MOMOMETAL). There are several more tracks from this album that just kick total ass. I say start with their "Clear Night" performance of the song Metal Kingdom (MOMOMETAL's very first song performance as an official member of BABYMETAL). Good job again guys. Babymetal reminds me a bit of John Stockton. He was the a member of the U.S. basketball team in 1992. That was the first Olympics where the U.S. decided to send the pros. This team had Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, etc.. John Stockton was a point guard on the team. There are paparazzi in japan and pulp magazines about the popular and famous, but it’s not so much as in the west. Think how Yui-metal left Babymetal and went back to be only Yui Mizuno, no matter how much many fans would like to know how she is doing, is she studying? Is she working? Is she married? But there is nothing about her, not a picture or a video taken by a fan that saw her at the mall… nothing. It’s a different culture, for sure.
A tiny disappointment for me with this song is that the second half is almost an exact repetition of the first half, even down to the guitars solo. I feel like it lacks a real climax. It‘s still good, but I think it could be better.

This is from the concerts BABYMETAL Begins - The Other ONE - Black & Clear Night held at PIA Arena MM (Yokohama) in April 1st & 2nd 2023 The thing is that many said they were going the "safe way" when the first singles of The Other ONE came out, and they were kinda right... and then, they dropped this mind-blowing song. Because everything about it is unusual, unexpected or "fooling": the use of that particular minor harmonic scale (Phrygian dominant) giving the song its Middle Eastern flavor, the lack of an actual chorus, replaced by two guitar solos (or instrumental sections), the onomatopoeic use of the tittle in the lyrics, etc. Yes, this is different from... everything else! I was lucky enough to experience this song live in concert last year in Berlin and I have to say that the song kicks ass and the guitar solos are so freaking amazing. Compared to the studio version, they changed the arrangement for the first solo on the live version probably to match the choreo. I'm very enthusiast about this song but I feel that a lot of people (including fans) don't feel it the way I do. 🤘🦊
Wow, I didn't expect to see you again until Monday. I love this song. I just wish it was longer. Like a 3rd verse from Su as I love love love her cadence and vocals in this. They look extra cool with their golden armor costumes with the lighting in this song. They were still wearing the Avengers era type costumes in this one. 🤘🦊🤘

On the first album they have "song 4" which mixes metallica style trash (you can hear master of puppets in the background) mixed with reggae. in Metal Resistance (2016) you will find "yava!", which is a ska song, "meta taro", Celtic style mixed with military march, "sis anger", only Moa and Yui sing and it is a death metal, and in Metal Galaxy can find "Night Night Burn", which has Latin/Spanish rhythms and "oh majinai."
They do actually sometimes play some songs when they go in some particular places Like in Spain they played the Latin song In South-East Asia they played both Shanti Shanti Shanti and Metalizm! That show was in 2023, but they don't do big arena tours In Japan Paparazzi respect Celebrities when they are not in work attire. There are basically no news no pictures of BM girls out of their work!
We know almost nothing about their private lives. In Japan, there are no paparazzi, and although there are gossip weekly magazines, most of these inform the talent's management agency in advance that they will be publishing anything. I think that excessive reporting like in other countries is done because the reporters are likely to be criticized. As a fan, I am interested in their private lives, but I would not want anything unpleasant for these girls, who give such amazing performances and inspire us. I believe that it is only when they have a secure private life that they can carry out such great entertainment activities.
Metalizm was on The Other One, but was probably originally meant for Metal Galaxy, which is the album with the bulk of the cultural sampling. The Metal Galaxy concerts are gorgeous. 🤘🦊🤘

Nice reaction. I was lucky enough to experience that song live twice and dang can Su-metal sing. The guitars and drums are heavier live as usual, making the song even more awesome! Paparazzi, especially for Babymetal, are not a thing in Japan. Probably because Japanese people are way too respectful and you can barely notice the girls without their costumes, hair done, and makeup. There are a very few pictures of the, around but usually Babymetal is posting them on their account themselves. The fact that they can not only change their dance moves but the actual VOCALS to fit the culture is INSANE to me... I have no words 😭😭
Such low notes are not easy to sing if you have a naturally high voice. This is only possible through long-term training to expand the voice range.

they are currently going to do a north american tour end of the year, but these tour concert videos are mostly from japan and european tours
Nice reaction. I was lucky enough to experience that song live twice and dang can Su-metal sing. The guitars and drums are heavier live as usual, making the song even more awesome!
Paparazzi, especially for Babymetal, are not a thing in Japan. Probably because Japanese people are way too respectful and you can barely notice the girls without their costumes, hair done, and makeup. There are a very few pictures of the, around but usually Babymetal is posting them on their account themselves. I must say, this year we’ve seen more of those than ever, which is nice to see that the girls are becoming more relaxed in that regard.
