Much of the information for Veneers has been covered in this video. Very helpful and informative video by Nihara Ma'am. Thankyou for guiding people for the home interiors.
Lots are called flitches which come from the same log. Book matched.
Crotches are formed at branches from the main trunk. Veneers are graded by defects , face grade n backing grades.
Unusual grain attract hirer process.
Cost is determined by the way it is cut.
Rotary is the least expensive versus quarter sawn.

इसके रखरखाव का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण बिंदु- इसमें sheen/luster बनाए रखने के लिए जो polish करवाना पड़ता है वो बहुत महँगी और सेहत के लिए बहुत हानिकारक होती है। साथ ही labour intensive व अधिक समय लेने वाली प्रक्रिया है। आप रुबियो monocoat नामक पॉलिश करवा सकते हैं जिससे समय व labour तो बचेगा लेकिन वह भी काफ़ी महंगा विकल्प पड़ता है।

One query as follow, Costing for diffrent type of polishing? and which option of polish is best which is also budget friendly!
Very informative video. It would have been helpful if you could have given a comparative cost analysis with an example like if a console unit has to be made in veneer v/s laminate what would be an approx costing in absolute terms. I understand there could be a variation depending upon design, selection of laminate / veneer etc.. but it would help to get an insight on the price variation between laminate and veneer by taking a ball park example.
