How did you get the track pack front lip? With the non track pack spoiler? My DH premium is being shipped to me now.. grabber blue, no track pack but i want the track pack spoiler and front lip. Didn't need the massive tires or the rest of it.

Late 80s early 90s I did prep at a ford dealership. I took a lot of pride in my work. We were not allowed to do a crappy job. I have ocd and the salesman and customers asked for me.Escort to Tbird supercoupe…they left perfect. I notice the salesmen just hose it down now no real prep/detailing. It’s sad….they will hose it down and dry it grinding everything into the paint.

With that being said it would nice if the dealership had a detail center that would buff and wax the vehicle. At a ford dealer that will never happen. Most customers get the car from the dealer and keep it unprepped and have the clear bra and ceramic coating done after delivery.
Other than the sound, you will end up missing the M2. I went the otherway. I went from Mustang to the M2. I am back into a BMW M car, my first new one in 11 years.

I bought a 2024 Audi RS5, and the dealer absolutely TRASHED the paint. I couldn't see it, as it was January, and snowing out. took me 22 hours to correct it & coat it. never let a dealer touch your car, EVER!!

Just because it’s expensive (and overpriced) doesn’t mean that Ford put more effort into it. We all know that companies that make specialty trims of certain cars don’t put that much more effort into things like paint. They just worry about slapping parts on to make sales. The Dark Horse is still a $30k Mustang underneath.
So say you finally saved up enough money to buy even an eco boost mustang and it your first brand new car ever. You’re hyped about it. But the paint is horrible. Scratched and swirled to shit, you wouldnt be bothered by that?
@@tuxon_speed they covered the pdr thankfully but I do think a handful of mustangs were dented in similar areas and had imperfections in the same spots. I don’t have it as bad as some others but it is sad to see. I imagine the allocation of funds for sports cars is only dwindling as time goes on
