I bought this palette when it first launched and this is the best use for it!! Prob one of the worst palettes I've ever tried and I use cream and liquid shadows all the time so I'm not a beginner. This has no pigmentation, no matter how much I build it up and what I did manage to get on my eyes creased and faded within 2-3 hours. Just awful formulations.
😮 out of curiosity, do they dry out?
@@rebekahcreates I just checked mine as it's been a while since I've used it and the shadows haven't dried out but it's only abt 3 months old (bought it on launch day in Feb). That said, these don't have the typical emollient formula that most cream shadows do, they're more clay-like and stiff, likely because they're in a palette rather than individual jars or sticks that have lids that snap or twist shut tightly to maintain their creamy-ness (not a word lol). The problem is that because they're so stiff, it's difficult to pick them up with a brush, either synthetic or rougher natural hair (like mine) so application with finger is really the only way to build color but that's not ideal for the matte shades. All in all, it's just not a good formula and there's a reason why cream shadows are almost exclusively sold individually rather than in palette form.
That's so sads...it looks so nice!

@@jessicak2361 I was excited to try it because, as someone that only wears cool tones, Greige was the first Huda palette that wasn't extremely warm toned or 70% pink and I love cream shadows. So not only was the formula a fail but this 9 pan palette includes 3 almost identical pink shades, which is lazy and/or poor editing in my opinion
It gave me so much joy when you smooshed the creamy ones this is why I loved these

The shades seem beautiful in pan but like a disaster to blend, the undertone lends itself to muddying on any skin tone.

This definitely reminded me of kbeauty eyeshadows that also do this laser embellishing. Example of rom&nd kuromi eyeshadow palette, but it's an all powder palette. Seems like this will definitely make its way around the beauty industry, but it seems to really be used for text/fine lines rather than figures. Interesting!
