The animated girl in the white dress is Sulli where first she is going fiercely throughout the jungle and then she couldn’t take it anymore, she jumped where a moon is reflected behind her which maybe about the last place IU saw her (hotel del Luna as a guest star) then the dragon(jonghyun) catches her and they meet in the after life basically, and IU asked “are you happy now?” Lastly the dragon and the plane where IU is in are going to different direction which indicates life and death. Although they’re painful memories IU still wants to keep them so when she meets them she’ll know them in the island where no sad ending(heaven). Feel free to share your opinion. I also wish his verse was longer, but i also really like how he fit his rapping style to the song. Even tho is a short verse, it's still beautiful 💜 and I think the line distribution is just fine. IU's vocals matched well to the entire song. She is such a queen. We are all grateful!

I think their lyrics are written to encompass more.. in terms of dealing with loss of people/ relationship/ younger self etc ... so many people can relate to it especially in the current situation. And it’s an interesting harmony/ sound between IU & Suga which I would love to see more of.

They collaborated but let's be honest the vibe will not be this good and very much different from IU's previous tracks if it weren't for Suga. IU's songs are all good but this one breaks her norm and the concept is a bit fresh in my perspective.

이 노래는 되게 경쾌한 멜로디 비트인데 노래가사는 굉장히 슬퍼요.. 해석 보면 드레스 입은 여자분이 작년에 떠나신 아이유님 절친 ㅅㄹ님으로 상징하고 도마뱀은 종ㅎ님 그래서 도마뱀도 사라지고 드레스 입은 여자분 보고 아이유님 캐릭터가 눈물을 흘립니다.

Infinity sign! I was thinking the same thing when I heard the song came out too. It's really go well with the title 8:EIGHT.... Life will keep going & never ending, we die in this world but we don't know what will happen in the after life but we keep bring the memories back so its never died, again & again & cherish the beautiful moment. This is my opinion when I listen the song💜
