A very nice video depicting the traditions of the Mandrekar family. Today is Ganesh Chaturthy and I was invited to participate in the festivities at their ancestral home in Mandrem where I had the good fortune of meeting many of the individuals who have been interviewed ... they had come from far off places ...putting everything aside to spend their precious time with their kith and kin..... there was tremendous warmth and strengthening of family bonds ... A great job done by Zinnia Mandrekar in putting the video together.
