The focus on sexuality is the “big issue” because it’s “embarrassing”, more so for sons who are gay than daughters who are gay (generally gay daughters are more “accepted” than sons) because, just as Hanna when she was barren, it’s like a form of barrenness, because two men cannnot conceive a child (yes, neither can two women, again, more accepted in women than men), it’s a “mark” of the end of that bloodline…spiritually speaking, I would imagine mothers and fathers who feel the embarrassment don’t know why they feel embarrassed
God has spoken. We as people take His word at times especially with the sins that we wrestle with as a hard word. You can try to soften the dilemma as much as you want to feel comfortable in your given sin. Like Jackie said in her own words the wages of sin is death, and God means what He says, period! So, it will be at anyone’s detriment to try to compromise sin. We will meet with Him in judgment at that appointed time and His laws and commandments will stand in spite of how we “feel”. To love Christ is to obey His laws and commandments to the very best of your ability in your walk. That includes all sins. You have to fight in fear and trembling for your salvation. Please be careful with these Jesus is love messages. The Gospel is a balanced diet that offers a little bit of sugar. God is love but He is also a Holy/Righteous judge over His word!!!!
Why? It’s reality! That’s the problem with Christianity! It’s judgmental and not compassionate towards the sinner and quite evil towards them to be honest. So, why would the sinner in the world want to listen to the sinner in the synagogue. For we are all sinners who fall short of the glory of God. If you say you’re not a sinner, you’re a liar and you make God a liar. It’s ok that it’s hard to listen as long as you can hear.
