    Who would've guessed the Robert would've become the most prolific musician in LZ?
    Thanks for sharing this video.

      I would have...his motivation, charisma, and ideas/creativitity. John Paul Jones and Pagey LOVE music of all genres and regions of the world. But, John Paul jones did and oes not have the same presence as Plant, so his GREAT and successful musical/business journeys are a less. Jimmy, LOVES his music as he should and does not do much outside that any longer.

    Who could not LOVE Robert's life in the limelight, no matter what style of music???!!! He was always in it for the music, not the fame. This is why he has come so far and an continued a musical space , and more importantly in space of where HE wants wants to rule. My boy Jimmy Page is No. 1 to me. Robert Plant has proved himself as the GREATEST singer/ songwriter of all time, if you look at it as creative passion mixed with love of the "biz game."

    Suzi's vocal on this is superb.

    Vocal harmonies majestic. But it is not like Robert Plant could be a slouch at any age. I wasn't that upset when the Beatles ended because they had given us so much. So did Zeppelin but they had a lot more in them. Bonham's passing put an abrupt end to that. Nonetheless, we still have Robert Plant giving us goose bumps in 2023. Thanks TH-cam. I would have never discovered this otherwise.

      Unlike the Beatles , Led Zeplin pretty much ripped off the old American black Bluesmen , never crediting them unless forced to many years later . Then all that Excalibur, Norseman, mythical nonsense with a whole lotta of Tolkein thrown in ......nah , not 4 me I'm afraid. Each to their own , but wish Led Zep would have been more honest regarding the influences and those more blatantly interpreted sans any credit .

    Reminds me kind of Celtic mixed with something else. It is soothing. On a side note I never knew Robert Plant played bass. I guess after working with one of the greats like John Paul Jones for years rubbed off? Who knew Plant was paying attention?

      I happen to own a white on white USA P bass mid nineties only with a rosewood board. The tone is just unbeatable. Amazing all the tones you can get with essentially a split single pickup, one volume and one tone control. God bless Leo.

    • @whichgodofthousandsmeansno5306
      @whichgodofthousandsmeansno5306 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes it's heavy.. but not much heavier then a Les Paul guitar. I loved my old Musicman for the light weight and balance but it didn't quite have the tone of a USA Fender Precision. Nothing does really. Not 4 string at least as I have found. Sorry, I veered off topic.. thread derailleur. My bad carry on.

      Oh but he did check out live in Hawaii in his shiny leathers. Not a lot but there a few instances that proved he could play guitar. He tickled the ivories on some of his gospel stuff.
