@@luciabenedetti3893 You've created a sexual-erotic fantasy with young Jimmy and you don't accept that he's getting old. Aging is the normal course of life. What did you want? That he had died young and remained young forever in your mind? Accept the facts of life, Dorian Gray only exists in literature. I will always love Jimmy, young or old. Knowing that he is still among us, under the same sun, the same sky as me, makes me happy.
My hometown. Camden Town. They are standing on the island just outside the train station. Robert lives up the road. I saw him often between 1995 and 2000 when II was there.
I've watched about a million hours of ZEPPELIN but this has got to be a Top 5 Interview, PAGE/PLANT standing in a TRAFFIC CIRCLE, clueless pedestrians going about their business! Great!
I love how they are genuine buddies. I've seen it in all there interviews, they care about each other and don't rush to speak or try to out do one another. I like that
Cool interview. Blessed to see them on their 2nd tour. The Walking Into Clarksdale album tour. Too bad they didn’t keep working together. Of course they should have invited John Paul Jones too though. There is still time for the reunion we all want. It’s up to Robert Plant. He’s the holdup always. Jimmy Page is getting up there age wise. But hey the Stones are still doing it. Anything is possible.
Love Robert. He's such a journey man who never ever rests on his laurels. I love Black Dog. It's one of the greatest rock tunes ever written but for Plant to say it's a poor man's Robert Johnson gives you an idea of the standards he holds himself to which is always changing and current. Most bands would give their right arm for the tunes Zeppelin wrote/stole depending on how you see it but if they did they took old ideas and fashioned them into something much more cohesive and dynamic. And it never would have happened without the talent of the four members who ran rings around most bands as a unit. They were all equals.
Back then I would have given one arm just to be there and try to to talk to them. And to think that exactly around that time I was in and around London. I was 23 and totally in awe of anything Zep and their reunion was the talk of the town. What I find strange is how the people passing by see two rock gods but there is no reaction. Probably most of the people there do not recognise them or in typical English style do not want to show interest. This moment is one of those defining and significant highlights of my musical world. If only I could go back and relive those times!
I've got a great idea, let's chat on a traffic island surrounded by five roads full of cars spewing exhaust and noise while people and cars go by continuously interfering with camera shots.
Can you imagine walking in London and then u see these two, yes,it was sad, devistating, when John had passed, they could have moved on with Jason Bonham, John's son RIP John Bonham
Kim Mueller Right!!! Im not sure they could pull it off here in the USA nope they are deeply loved here and we'd love to reach out and touch them. Name the inter section boys
It looked like just a couple of people yelled to them because they laughed and Robert waved. But here, US, the calling out would have been continuous. They’re so recognizable too.
Very odd place for an interview. I would have jumped all over Jimmy and Robert if I were there and saw them!! I did enjoy watching this. Someone in truck recognized them and honked the horn and yelled. They liked that finally someone recognized them. I would have been so angry at myself if I hadn't recognized them!!
Love the content, of my all time favorite band and guitar icon idol. The format sucks beyond belief as many have stated, just useless effect. I have to wonder, as private as they are, they did that on purpose lol, just to be difficult. Neither one of them are loud talkers. I think it would have been more effective in a hotel lobby with drinks, relaxed, and focused. Shame. I still love the interview great insight into their album at that time.
My friend, its a fantastic place to hold an interview. Nobody wants to stay there, or go there, everyone is passing, going somewhere else, and would feel weird hanging around. And you know, they could be on every chat show the world over, prime time, millions of viewers , all this was planned ,sorry you prefer hotel the hotel lobby, lots of people, time on their hands, drunk, annoying.dull.
Notice how Page always looked back at Robert when answering questions. Nervous? Insecure about their relationship? Maybe because Plant's solo career was much more successful? Robert seems much more relaxed.
Because of his age. He is a middle-age man here. They didn’t do whole lotta love either for the same reason. “Going to make you sweat make you groove… big leg woman ain’t got no soul… didn’t take too long until I found out what people mean by down and out” it’s a young man’s perspective lyrically. Other songs like Kashmir and friends are more ambiguous insofar as perspective and worked for plant at this time. It’s also the energy. Very high energy, fast, in a register he lost, hard to sing. Is my guess.
They both have f'n GREAT hair.
With great hair comes great responsibility
Jimmy! In middle age and still so beautiful! Robert too! 🥰

I love these guys together. Much more music. It's great. There
creativity is endless.
Robert is such a worldly guy , knows his cultures. Someone does recognize them! Thanks for posting!

Frankincensed - Definitely not something you’d expect to see going about your day..
Did any of these passerbys stop and want an autograph? I wouldn't have cared if it me late for work or my wedding.
Perhaps we could build a large, wooden badger...
I would have stayed there until they were finishing no matter how long it took just to tell them how great they are.
Frankincensed Lol! Wld love to know how they came up with that genius plan! ;-P. Great interview though!
I love how people are just walking along with two music legends standing there and like one person realizes who they are...
2:54 this guy did. And this guy 3:41 this guy yelling 6:21 and this guy 7:50
This is so great to see (11/2019).. an odd choice for interview but loved it🔥
Filmed east of the Jazz Cafe, where Parkway crosses Camden High Street, London NW1
Top of Camden High Street, outside the World's End pub.
No t Piccadilly sq? That’s where I thought
@@spottss No it's down at heel Camden..Surprised they did not get mugged during interview
Cool interview and venue
Very cool
The guy at 11.12 was counting cars, he is now up to 950,000, a personal record.
😂

Brava Kathy!

Eh sì sembra ancora giovane....ma di anni qui ne ha 47!!! Svegliati, è il 1995🤭🤭🤭 quindi, come sempre tra l'altro, li porta malissimo.👎👎

Probably thought they were hookers and were in the middle of a transaction with the bald guy....2 for 1 deal!
They did at 7:40
Please in the middle of a busy intersection?!
7:28 Jimmy checking out that woman hahaha
Lol
Andrew SHE WAS BUEATIFUL THIS WAS BEFORE OBESITY IN WOMEN ✊🏾
I saw that. He never misses.
Gotta love him 😂

I do. I do. 😍❤️
Robert …..beautiful and eloquent ❤❤❤
Do you think people were told not to stop and stare? I would have crossed that street probably 99 times and then fainted with joy 😍😍
Insane...no one, and I mean no one FU^KING recognized them. Mind boggling.
That's a junction near The Jazz Cafe in Camden.

oh look it's them, at my actual age. Even Jimmy looks miles better than me.
6:19 "GET A HAIRCUT"...
Nikki Collins - So glad they ignore that stupid crap..
Jayanna Kelley Well I don’t think that’s what he actually said so you really don’t know what he was saying
Lachrymosa He said get a haircut I heard It from Here And I Am In Indiana😂😂

Some of you sure do like conjecture. Reading so much into nothing.
Why would they do an interview literally in the middle of the street with all the noise and distractions?
Typical of Zeppelin’s originality !
Because they could.
Camden Town
opposite the Worlds end pub
The guy at 3.49 was a mystery.

Lmao
My watch needed winding up.
They really couldn't find a nice cafe to have this chat at?

Classic rock was alive and well in the 90’s. Certainly refreshing from all the alternative shit music.
To bad they dont feel that way now ..
God, plant struggles to make the mundane sound like a proposition by Lichtenstein !
And he succeeds too -lol
A car better not run into them!!! 😬
Jimmy's jacket is too big
This is style
Maybe he likes it that way...
