Cannot believe my favorite card ilgynoth is back and insanely frustrating
I know it's not the most popular video type, but man I love wild meta informative videos.
Just commenting for the algorithm to say I love this type of vid (meta analysis), since I don’t play wild enough to understand or even encounter every one of these archetypes
I’m still loving Reno Hunter. As opposed to the other Reno Decks I feel like demon seed is a more than winnable matchup for it. It also shreds charge Druid and egg hunter. Overall still very enjoyable deck.
I love this deck too, I play in top legend with it every month
Right now I like the Mojo Master version with the Hope weapon the most
It's a very good "Tempo" or "Midrange" deck that has very good anti-combo tools, anti-aggro while tools while developing tempo and keeping pressure with either tempoish techs or hyper tempoish cards
And the late game is mojo master and the weapon and both of those cards are very accessible (via the secret package, polkelt and so on)
Hunter lacked wincon vs more controllish decks and those cards just enables that while still keeping hyper efficient tempo
The deck is not popular enough to be featured on the snapshot most of the time but for me it's a very good tier 2 deck that can beat any deck and can adapt to all kind of meta
Where can I find a good reno hunter list? Could you send me yours?

Luckely my decks are so bad, that the Wild meta I have to face is Elemental Warlock and Murloc Mage.
I really discovered how helpless quest warlock is once I assembled new kingsbane rogue (really liked your yearerday list, literally just swapped Finley and Dubious purchase for Cuttig class and Sonya for E.T.C. with Evasion, Vanish and Valeera DK(I know she isnt great and rarely does anything, I just like her))
I’ve always relied on the tempostorm snapshot for years, both this video and such a quick snapshot update were a treat

As a Warlock main, I'm sad the only deck we have is tier 3 and has to be Questline, which I don't really enjoy playing. Marshie, do you see any potential in other Warlock decks or do we just have to hope for next expansion?
Next expansion, but people are playing renolock a bit

Thanks, this kind of thing always helps me keep up. And on a related aside, does the meta vary much with rank, do you think? E.g. perhaps higher ranks see higher-skill-level decks and less 'just for fun' decks? I've often wondered this but don't play often enough to really appreciate it myself I don't think.
Going from diamond 5 to legend I always find players with decks full of skill, but when I reach legend I start playing the rest of the month with my for-fun decks, even knowing that I will lose most of the games from now on
Youre definitely going to see more of tier 1 at higher ranks and more Reno stuff at lower ranks, which is why theres so much complaining about the Demon Seed.

I’m having a little challenge this season, trying to get legend with the new Ysiel miracle Druid.. managed to get to diamond 5 so far.. the deck is ok but so in inconsistent 😂 good fun though!
Even hunter might fit well in this meta. I need to try playing my baby again.
I'm surprised pirate rogue is only 22nd on the list.
On the last day of the season i had a 15-0 diamond 5 to legend climb with it.
The day prior i tried pirate dh, aggro shadow priest and combo priest, all tier 1 decks and i struggled to even get diamond 4 with them.

Is charge druid better than tog druid? I have been playing tog druid with decent win rate at around rank 200-500.

Yes and no. There's some matchups that tog loses that charge doesn't, and vice versa.
Reno decks can beat Quest Warlock with high rolls far more often than Quest Warlock can beat turn 5-6 combo decks with 2 Flesh Giants. Ramp/Eonar/Brann/Aviana/Astalor for Druid, Watch Post/Razorscale/Spawn of Shadows for Priest, Cariel/Resistance Aura/or even Holy Wrath tech combo for Paladin. Geist is also SUPER strong vs Renathal, you take AGES to reach fatigue with 40 cards, and without Renathal Warlock can't survive vs aggro. I'm not saying those are fair matchups, Warlock clearly has a 75-90% win rate vs Renos, but I don't think I have 5% win rate with Seedlock vs any fast combo decks despite a 11 stars Legend winrate.
x2 Rat Dirty + Raise Dead is so good in Renathal Lock imho. Aranna, Il'gynoth, Rommath, E.T.C, Colifero (rarely), Muckmorpher, most pirates, etc. Of course it backfires during some games/matchups, it's Dirty Rat, but it's by far the strongest and most underrated card you can play. Cataclysm was a close 2nd, nobody expected a turn 5 Twisting Nether during Giant Rogue meta.

I updated my spell druid list and saw you replaced branching path with burn down. Wouldn't this really hurt against aggro as buying turns with branching path was really good ?
What is Burn down?
@@Begeru 3 mana mage spell that draws 3 cards, but if you don't play them in 3 turns, they'll be destroyed
I'm guessing it's because Branching is just sort of inefficient in both draw and doesn't stand up well against aggro if they have anything going on; 12 armor for 4 mana Vs. a board + hand of threats
The card has felt a lot weaker but again this is guesswork

If questline warlock cant be stoped by reno decks.... why isnt above the tier of Reno decks?
Same reason its not #1 on the tier list, other decks exist.
I'd say is because Reno decks can destroy aggro and have some anti-combo tools, so in general, a better matchup spread than Q.Lock
