Dude you Rock! I was raised on my mommas Texas pintos and cornbread. The combo of the cornbread, egg, pintos and daisy (and lots of hot sauce) takes it to another level. Best breakfast ever!
My favorite mess kit. I find it sleek and slim, not too bulky. The pan has a good capacity floor cooking and eating from. And the lid/ plate can be used to cook with as well. I just wish the lid/ plate didn't have the divider.
Ebay or military surplus. Usually pretty cheap. Last one I bought was $5 from WW2. Silverware to. At surplus store. Walmart sells a cheapo scout type for $5. But it does the job.

I didn’t have any bacon. But I toasted up some Ezekiel bread put some eggs on top of it some cheese and a can of chili beans with sauce and add some hot sauce it was really good.

Atkrdu it’s the USGI army mess kit. You can find them on eBay and various army surplus stores. It is stainless, and latches closed. It’s a good piece of gear.
Man you cook with them mess kits the gi one on just coals works much better flames makes hot spots and burns every thing. Coals and trivia is best. Like your vids though .
