I definitely agree, I think The UK, US and Canada are the best when it comes to handling racism. The UK is the greatest in my opinion.
As an italian, you're kind of right. Of course, it depends on who you have to deal with, but i can see why a lot of people that come from countries that have a "longer history" with racism and that have been multi-ethnic societies for a longer time can see many behaviors by many italians as racist, and most of the times they indeed are. But again, we can also be the exact opposite, like any other country

I have been to Gabon twice, Librevile and Port Gentil. I don't like Gabon. Too much pollution and very expensive even if the salary is 5 x lower. I understand why they don't like the French. But the main problem is internal. They need smart leaders who are not corrupt.

You can live here if you can't speak German but I don't think you will feel accepted when Germans only talk English to you, but German among themselves. That's just my experience because I've been to other countries where a lot of people can speak fluent English, but among themselves they still use their native language.
