    Hey is ausmat as recognized as a levels? Also does it have a lot of memorization when it comes to physics and chemistry? Cuz a levels are based on understanding and applying

      Hii, yes ausmat is globally recognised like A levels, but maybe will not stand a higher chance than A level qualifications if you are applying to prestigious unis in UK/US etc. You can find out more about unis that accepted ausmat students on google, I think it’s published on Sunway’s prospectus. As for chem , some topics require memorisation of exam keywords but it’s absolutely impossible to memorise all without understanding and applying it. Most of the chem qs in ausmat requires application. For physics I am not so sure as I didn’t take physics. Hope this helps!! 😊😊

    Thank you for sharing, your video is very informative and helpful. Does student need to wear formal attire during presentation please?

      Thank you for the comment! Yes, students are required to wear semi-formal attire for our English oral presentations. I doubt if they would be really strict on that but I rmb myself wearing a plain sweater and black jeans 🫣 Also, the presentations are one-to-one which allows introverts (like me) to give in our full potential hehehe

    Hi, which do you think would be a wiser choice when it comes to choosing between MUFY and AUSMAT?

    • @yeee2172
      @yeee2172  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      hello! if you are planning only to study in Monash Malaysia/Australia, it would be wiser to take MUFY (easier syllabus, easier scoring and easier to get scholarships in Monash). however, if u would like to aim for higher ranked australian, singaporean or malaysian private/public unis, it is better to take ausmat since they are more recognisable than MUFY.
      hope this helps!

    Does this mean A level difficult than Ausmat?

    • @yeee2172
      @yeee2172  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, a lvls syllabus is definitely harder im 100% sure😭😭 the syllabus of a levels is WAYYY harder than ausmat since it’s a 1.5 -2 year program. Their syllabus is more extensive and cover more than ausmat. However I would say that ausmat is the hardest amongst all one year course like mufy, foundation and cimp based on my friends testimonial and comparison ❤ the hardest thing about ausmat is not the syllabus but the consistent performance in every small exams and assignments! Hope this helps!

      @@yeee2172 so do you mean Ausmat is slightly easier than A level?

    • @yeee2172
      @yeee2172  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@elynnlee8250 it depends from person to person. since i didn't take a levels and doesn't really know in depth about their syllabus/timetable etc. so idt i could give u advice on this. here's what i think:
      if u are an exam oriented person, go for a levels as there are more resources available online to score well in the exam. a lvls give you more options of uni compared to ausmat as it is more globally recognised.
      if u want to save time in pre-u and don't mind taking small tests for the 50% coursework marks and sit for an external paper in the end of the year which represents 50% external examination marks, go for ausmat.
      it really depends on which uni you wanna go to after pre-u. if you're aiming for ivy league schools, go for a lvls.
      may i know what are your concerns right now? i'll help as far as i could :)

    Maths is a compulsory subject ?

    • @yeee2172
      @yeee2172  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      nope! but most of the unis require you to take at least one maths: MAA/MAM/MAS. MAS must be taken with MAM.

    Is ausmat so hard??

    • @yeee2172
      @yeee2172  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      For me it’s really challenging even for the top achievers 😭 we have to be super consistent in each weighted assessments. However if you could manage your time well and study smart there shouldn’t be a problem! It really depends on which uni you aim, and also whether you are exam based or coursework(small tests) based! 😇

      @@yeee2172won’t I get free time? Or is it so much hard to pass as an average type student? Cause I’m very bad at math

    • @yeee2172
      @yeee2172  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It actually depends on which maths you take. Maths applications are relatively easier than methods (which consist 80% calculus). May I know what are you deciding to pursue after pre-u?
