Honest advice: you are all perfect the way you are. We don't need to listen to every single thought that goes through our head. I feel like once you start tampering with your body, you never really stop cause then you are never really fully satisfied with the way you look and you feel like you can just change it. It's a path to distruction in my opinion. You all are literally perfect and unique. Enjoy it. Celebrate it. God created you Himself personally. He personally picked every feature of yours. i feel like a lot of people don't really know this after getting a rebond or a perm (maybe you know, but just in case). i've been getting a rebond for around 3 years now and this is what the hairdresser told me:
1. don't wash/wet any part of your hair for 2-3 days after getting it done
-avoid sweating, the rain, anything wet
2. don't tie your hair for a week or so
-it can change the form/add unwanted texture to your hair
-you can tie it briefly e.g. when washing your face, but take it out right away
3. don't tuck your hair behind your ear
-same reason as number 2
-leave it how you want it to look after washing it (where the hair reveal comes out)
not a hair specialist or anything lol, but just some tips people may find useful if they're interested in getting hair treatment

I am rooting for youuu I am a Korean and I live in Korea and I know what it's like in Korea in terms of beauty standards. I do not look like any ai girl. I think I look normal. I've gone through plastic surgery and really what you said about you now look like you belong to Korea made me sad and nonfathomable. I do not fit the beauty standard and I AM still a Korean. I STAN ERICA. I know its hard wanting to change some parts in your appearance cause I do every single day. i’m guessing you’re on the younger side… botox isn’t instant it numbs your muscles, and it prevents you from using those muscles; therefore, making it smaller eventually. botox is also made as a medical procedure to treat other aches such as migraines first. it’s “normalized” for a reason… lmfao

1. Erica's face is flat like a board, needs contours, surgery will help.
2. Her lower jaw is weak so that needs implant and jaw lengthening
3. She needs to get a larger bridge for her nose as it is also too flat and does not complement her flat face.
4. She also need her eyes done, the Korean surgeons are masters of re-working the eyes, she should probably go there to get all her necessary work done.
5. A few more odds and ends needed on her face. But, definitely botox is good start.
Keep it up girl and don't let these commenters tell you don't need cosmetic enhancement.

I've been telling to my friends that if I were to be born in SK i would've got of all of these done. Tbh I personally like how it’s okay in korea to care about your appearance, keep up with it and feel comfortable with it. I grew up in the US and a lot of people here just straight up do not like their own appearance, and that affects their mentality in a big way. And the sad thing, it is considered vain here to care about the appearance, or shameful if you want to change something about it to make yourself more comfortable with it. You honestly can’t even look in the mirror for a long time in the US without being judged. In Korea , I saw how a lot of people cared about looking presentable to others, and there was no shame in pulling out phones or mirrors to check their hair or makeup in public, and becoming comfortable in your own clothing style, appearance, was encouraged. We only have one life. And I hate when people lie that appearances don’t matter and we should “love ourself.” I have seen more cases of pretty privilege happening in the US and the west in general, than in Korea., When koreans come overseas, I hear a lot of comments saying how they look clean, fashionable and representable. Your looks are your first impression. It’s okay to care about it. I really liked that about Korea

It’s good to care about how you present yourself but they are on the extreme end of it. It’s easy for you to say that but when you are put into this box of “what you should look like” by having all of these ridiculous beauty standards they have in korea, you’ll learn to appreciate the privilege you have in the west to care less about how you look. This is coming from an Asian person myself, wanting to get jaw surgery at 13 because the korean standard is a v-line face and rubbing lemons on myself in hopes of lightening my skin.

I'm honestly so glad that your feelings confident now, I understand how it feels to have an identity crisis,
but I think that when some people keep saying " oh no, we stan you! " or, " Erica just be you! Nobody here will judge you" which also makes them point out a lot of insecurites of the influencer. I think it's kinda wrong to do, although the person is trying to be nice or they are trying to support the influencer, that's totally okay! What I'm trying to say is that whatever the influencer does he/she intentionally does it, it is their own decision. They chose to do whatever they wanted to do, be it their hair or face, they wanted to do it.
Let that person be, if you don't like what the influencer did, don't say anything about it!
