Hey hun, I would have been disappointed too! I have just tried our favourite revoulution skin blur soft focus skin tint, mixed with their new bronzing drops in scorched and its amazing 🤩 xx
I got the medium tin & I am a light skinned girly too. I can use all the products as the face palette is a bit lighter and I can use the blusher topper anyway as it is very sheer. Even the body glow sheers out. You could have requested the white chocolate option when you ordered so not the mystery option but you would have paid £45 as a one off instead of the no choice option where you took a risk. There are always sneak peeks on TikTok so that you know what is coming in your box and can skip it if you don't like it. I have only subscribed for the last 4 months and I do love the value in the boxes. It's a good way to build up a makeup collection quickly. I think you should give it a try for another month then make your mind up. I think skin tone items only come up every so often and this is the first I have got in 4 months x
As a sewer, I love a tin to store my kit in too! But I'm with you, I wish that PLouise had let customers pick a skin tone so the box isn't a big waste. It's very presumptuous of them. But then, most of the people who work there are under 30 so I'm sure practicalities like that never cross their minds. To be fair, they don't often do skin tone reliant boxes. I have to say, I'm not a fan of PLouise's products that aren't eyeshadow. Most of their skin creams are okay. Their lips oil/drips/balms and such are okay too but I got so many of them in past budget boxes that I had to cancel my subscription. I find there's not "budget" in their boxes if I'm not able or don't want to use the contents. So I find the best value in just buying a la cart. I'm so sorry this was your first (and only?) Budget Box.
Such a shame Milli. I have never used anything by P Louise. Not sure why as it looks lovely on other people. I’m a fair skinned girl (natural blonde with blue eyes) so agree with you. That box would also be a waste for me. 😢
It’s a shame you can’t find someone with a deeper skin tone who might have received the ‘fair/light’ box to swap items with. I’d be gutted if I’d received that - my skin is even lighter than yours! I’ve tried fake tanning, but it just makes me look like I’ve got a bad case of jaundice! xx
Putting skintone dependent products into a mystery box without letting the buyers choose at least the range, i.e. light or medium or deep, is far from ideal. It's a waste of money if you get a mystery box and cannot use the products, that's really bad value.
I’ve been getting the budget box for around two years and this is the only box I’ve never been able to use. They are normally amazing x
Also next months box is incredible ❤

Probably budget boxes way better
The balms aren’t tinted luckily! ❤
I’ve been wearing the lip balm EVERY DAY I’m obsessed it’s one of the nicest lip balms I’ve ever tried (still not worth 30 quid tho 😂)
@@MilliDavison no I agree!
How strange that they don't let you choose your skin tone

I would have been as disappointed I am just as pale as you are and those shades would be a definite no. It's not nit picking its honest
I AM your skin tone and i would 💯 be disappointed like you are. Maybe try one more month then decide?
Honestly, I got a mystery box from plouise. Never again. Pure shite.
