Prince of Darkness (1987) - Movie Review

Continuing John Carpenter's Apocalypse Trilogy, Prince of Darkness is the chapter that I have the least experience with. A melding of quantum physics and the eternal concepts of God and his counterpoint, Prince of Darkness is one of John Carpenter's more ambitious movies. Does the ambition pay off or does this apocalyptic chapter in Carpenter's filmography merit the obscurity?
