Everyone bashes Japan for some of it's admittedly bad decisions in marine conservation. But frankly, what other country can claim to have the biggest city on the planet yet still having jaw-droppingly beautiful nature practically a stone's throw from it-and even in it? Insane that this place has so many sharks, and they aren't even protected! Hopefully Japan forms some genuine marine reserves-you'd have dive sites ranked among the absolute best of the best in the world.
