Wow! This is amazing. Im currently binge watching uw move in videos bc its my dream uni and ive always wanted to go. Im planning to study psychology and criminology/criminal justice, but i still have years until i can apply so i still have some time to decide. What do you think about the uni itself?
Also im in the uk, so id be a international student, and the tuition is pretty expensive. Do they have financial aid for international students and stuff?
i love UW! its only my first quarter here so i cant speak much on it but there are so many opportunities available for students. yess there is financial aid as well :) and omg i love binging college vids too haha

hello! thank you for witchingly video and congrats on your uw acceptance! I chose my roommate and found her through a post on a Facebook page filled with other incoming freshman. I got super lucky and ended up getting along with my roommate super well and she became one of my best friends. I definitely recommend choosing your roommate if you can find one so that you can communicate and plan things ahead of time before you move in but if you are unable to find someone, thats totally okay too! many people get a random roommate and if you are easy going and get along well with others, you will be just fine! if you have any other questions please feel free to ask away :)

Just got into UW! I'm considering dorm life over living in my parent's house. My biggest want would be to have a private bathroom in the dorm lol. Is this available in all dorm buildings?
congrats on getting into UW!! yesss i would say 80% of the dorms have private bathrooms. you can also do research on their website, they give you all the info needed
which hall is this? uw was my top choice, and i just got accepted :) (i'm oos) i'm tryna figure out which dorms are best quality and easiest to afford. awesome video btw!

hi!! thanks for watching!! i didnt buy everyrhing at once, i collected stuff throughout the summer before and also took as much as i could from home. i hung up the pictures with command frame strips!! they are the best, its kinda like wall velcro

Thanks for watching my video! There are a lot of great restaurants on what we call the Ave (Univsersity Way NE) like Cafe on the Ave, Korean Tofu House, Chipotle, Starbucks, Chimac, BB.Q. There is also Din Tai Fung and Shake Shack at U-Village. Hope this is helpful!

Hiii, I wanted to ask whether majority of the freshmen dorms are like this (w/ the private bathroom and all) or if only a few are, and whether you were allowed to choose the type of room you wanted?
yes! most of the rooms are like this with a private bathroom but there are various room options and sizes with up to a 4 person room :)

Hi! I’m an international student and will be coming to udub this fall. I am currently searching for housing options and stumbled upon ur vid. (rlyy nice room btw!) I researched for the living cost in seattle near udub and the apartments there are more expensive than dorms. Can you help recommend living options which are affordable, safe, and in close proximity to udub?
hi, thanks for your support and watching my video!! ahh yea housing is a bit expensive but there are lots of options for dorms and apartments near by. the ones that affiliated with uw are on the student housing website but to be completely honest, i do not know much about other apartments around campus. there are a few uw facebook pages where people advertise cheaper apartments with photos and details so you can find options there as well. for me, i felt the safest in the dorms as it is also the closest option. i hope this was helpful!! sorry i dont actually know much about apartments!!

Do you have to pay extra for a dorm bathroom
thats such a good question! answer is no!! most of the dorm rooms have their own private bathroom, while some dorm buildings have communal or grouped shared bathrooms

ahh i think its pretty rare for freshmans, i think you should try and be open to having a roommate! it’ll help you transition into college and gives you an opportunity to make new friends! plus i think you’ll learn alot from that experience but i’ll have my fingers crossed for you!
