Was born in Uganda. I've not been there for a number of years. Thanks for this video. Brought back memories. Those streets are quite scary though. Was worried half through the video I thought you were going to be hit by boda boda.
I admire your bravery, you're motivating me to buy my ticket! I think safety concerns are the main reason why more Americans don't go there, so its nice to see that you broke that mold.

Now I view my home areas. I love your video.
Great video. It was a slow start, but I thought the walk got really interesting once you got down onto the path along the old railway line.

Mate u look so confident walking on these Ugandan roads considering all those motorbikes

that shows that he was safe
Kampala is a generally safe city , as you can see people are just minding their own business
Another great video Paul, BTW do they have motorcycle rental places in Kampala, the traffic doesn't seem to bad for riding one.
I've never seen a motorcycle rental. I don't think there are many visitors who would want to rent one so the demand is probably not there.
Nice country

Are they allowing sales of new SIM cards yet? Back in March sales of new cards were stopped. Haven't seen anything since.
I didn't know about that. Someone on the ground in Uganda please answer this.
Paul Douglas Dembowski I was there 3 days ago, you can't buy sim cards still
Thanks
