Hecz explained why they decided to drop him. I don't think it was one of the greatest reasons but, I believe it was a valid one none the less. 1. His ego got too big 2. this is the real reason, he ditched all the guys at Mexico when they lost. They were there for each other and then Lava just left. He acted like a child and unfortunately he paid for it. Lava was my favorite too and I can't stand watching the new team play on twitch now. They're an annoying dynamic. I just want to tell them to stfu. I almost just think that's the scene because Nv is annoying too. Either way watch the tourny and cheer for the green wall.

Mental is such a level headed player. All first map he was getting notification spammed and didn't make excuses after, or complain. Just fist bumped his team, turned off notifications and moved on. Didn't even need to ask for a ref or anything.

I've been watching optic since black ops 2 first came out and I can't remember a more dominant underappreciated team than the gears team. they had a small rough patch but it was like 2nd place finishes not actual rough patches. absolute dominance
