Thanks for the upload. Just what I needed. I did a headliner in my mk5 and the vanity lights shared some sort of flat ribbon cable; perhaps that’s why it flashed with only one in :)
I had to splice in load equalizers for my plate lights, regardless of which bulbs I used. ‘16 R-Line. No LEDS worked. I tried the high power ones rated at 5W each. Still had an error for each of the two plate lights. Really annoying.

hello ! did you find any license plate light without error ?
Most LEDs should have built in resistors to prevent any error lights on the dash . My Jetta had cheap eBay ones
